LIU NetMaster 200
Increase your fishermen's bounties with this revolutionary craft.
About this creation
The NetMaster 200

Fish is the staple of the ever growing LIU's population. Fearful that traditional fishing wasn't meeting the needs fast enough, The Ludgonian Industrial Union developed the NetMaster 200 (NM 200), a fusion powered craft that speeds above the water, netting fish.

The Fish Skimmer was not cleaned up for any of these photos, and fish goo can be seen in most of the pics. (Actually, soda was spilled into my container of gray pieces. I thought it was cleaned up, but when I re-opened it a month later, I noticed several stained pieces. I tried to clean them again, but there were too many and I was too lazy. Bear with me here...)

The NetMaster 200 enhances fishing ten fold with its advanced tools, speedy engines, and humble crew.

It looks simple, but the NM 200 is laden with technological breakthroughs. The best LIU fishermen were brought in to design the ship and help make it so efficient.

The NM 200 flies just above the water at a high rate of speed. There are two thrusters, the main thrusters (top), and the lift thrusters (below). The combination of these two thrusters can out run any a lot.

This particular model is hunting sharks so it is armed with hooks on each of its sides. Here is a view of one of them.

The hook is deployed here. Note the cannister attached to the hook that slowly releases bait fluid. The sharks can't resist it.

The front of the NM 200 bears a net that is capable of dipping into the water and scooping up schools of fish. Since this ship is hunting sharks, the net is lowered only to lift the hooked shark on board. They managed to get a Saw-Nosed Shark this time, that equals $$$$$

The Net Manager releases the hook (already been done in this pic) and kills the struggling shark. How does he do that? Well, note the two cannisters facing the shark's nose, they release a fast killing nerve toxin. Its pretty easy. He then digs his pick axe into its skin and pulls it on board.

Once on board, the shark's jaw is sawed off by the Butcher. Look at the precise cuts he makes with his hand saw. The only edible pieces of the shark are the upper jaw and dorsal fin. The rest of the body is chucked overboard. Its pretty wasteful, but the LIU doesn't care, as long as they get their shark tacos!

Here, you can see the stock boy wheeling an upper jaw towards the NM 200's freezers. Kids these days can't wear their hats right...

Here's two views of the freezers. The top photo shows the two freezers closed. This pic shows an open freezer full of shark jaws.

The deck crew from left to right: Teddy, the Stocker, ol' man Vance, the Butcher, and Chris, the headband wearing Net Manager.

This is only half of the NetMaster 200's job. The fish must then be deliver to the LIU homeworld. This ship is capable of space flight.

The deck crew is dropped off at the docks, the engines are fired up, and the NM 200 takes flight.

The cockpit of the NM 200 is loaded with computers. They help the crew with the following: flying the ship over the water, spaceflight, locating fish, releasing bait, pulling up the forward net, communicating, and other complicated fisherman stuff.

The pilots pose outside the cabin. They deliver the goods and return to the docks to pay the crew. They don't tell the others that they are pocketing over half the profits before they return. Its good to be a pilot.

Several sharks were harmed during the filming.

Note: The NetMaster 200 does not distingiush between fish when dragging its net. If you have protected species, you may want to disable the nerve agent cannisters. The Net Manager is at high risk of sudden death from this nerve toxin. Try not to breathe, wear eye protection, and bathe regularly.
