A hunter stumbles upon an old safe house, abandoned in the heart of the forest . . .
About this creation
This set was done mainly in order to try out a few techniques I had in mind, such as the hollow tree and a few aspects of the structure, and also the border running along the bottom. It was fun to build, especially because it was so small and I wasn't running out of pieces when I was finished.
this is very good - you are developing quite an idiosyncratic style, yet i can also see lots of evidence of borrowing nice ideas from others, which is a great way to test things out as a builder. I love the big tree, it really stands out from the thumbnail. The cottage is cool too, with it's boarded up windows and nicely textured walls. Well done! :)
Fantastic work, A.J.! I love the foliage, and that tree is perfect. The whole build is incredible, and that beautiful interior just adds to the magnificence of the build. It's amazing that you can fit so many details into such a small vignette. Great job, as usual!
