While his men retreated, he stood his ground to fight, the result was his death. The sting of an arrow to his neck was his last memory.
I wanted to create something simpler for this Round, they say the most basic things are what make true pieces of art. A thousands words can describe something, but a still frame picture can capture the most intriguing images. Best of luck General X and a hearty thank you to the judges. :)
New judge here. I like it, and I enjoyed the simplicity of it, but sometimes being too simple can cost you. General X has my vote, because I believe he had a better representation of "tragedy". Not that death isn't tragic, but his MOC showed more of it. Better luck next time!
I'll start off by saying that as this contest moves further along, it gets harder to judge the entries! Your presentation was much better than your opponent's presentation, and the base of your MOC was impressive, but I leaned toward his build a bit more. Your opponent has my vote. Good luck with the other judges!
Although simplicity can be a good thing, I feel that there was not much detial. General X had some breathtaking details, and I felt that his MOC fit the category much better. For this reason, he gets my vote. Good luck with the next judges!
