About this creation
Hi! A while ago, I got a bunch of vintage Lego stuff from a garage sale. There was this: , with the box and instructions, but not all of the pieces. I also found most of the pieces to this:

Anyway, I did a little research and found out that I had most of the pieces to this set, so I built what I could. Enjoy!

The rocket. I couldn't find the original 2x4 black round bricks, so I used new ones. :-(

The base. I love the translucent yellow and computer slopes. :-D

I had to replace one of the wheel thingies, and also had to use 2x4 bricks instead of round bricks for parts of the little pillars behind the wheels. :-(

The rover.

I had to replace the trans-green plates here.

The back.

Here is the satellite/laser thing. I have no idea of what it was supposed to be.

See ya!

God I loved that set! The best part was that the 1X6X5 computer screen in the Beta-1 Command Base showed this set on it. So, having both sets, they could talk to each other. Your modifications are perfect, the feel is still there if not the exact piece. But who really cares when you have a crater base plate, trans yellow bricks, and inverted slope computers? Sweeeeet!

super! like you, I really miss the trans yellow, and reversed computer screens, as well as the sink knobs, it looks just right, good job!
