Task Force 141 Vs. The Terrorists In The Old Temple
Wait it's been how long?! Wow! I really need to add a few more creation every so often! I think I average out to about one creation a year. Don't get me wrong, I haven't stopped playing with Lego, I just haven't built with it as often as I did. By the way, who else is excited for the new Lego movie coming out next year?! I know I am. Anyways back to the creation at hand. I suppose I must have gone through what many MOC'ers call a “Dark Age”. Well whatever it was, it should be coming to close hopefully. So, here is my first new creation in possibly over a year.
About this creation

First the AI (Anti Infantry) gun which is currently pointed at the hero's of Task Force 141.

Here is a side view of Yuri performing a frontal assault on the stronghold, and using the pond and statue for cover as Cpt. Price provides covering fire.

Here, again, is another side shot of Yuri, with Soap providing cover for him alongside Price

Here we have a Juggernaut coming out of the fortress. Boy, he has no clue how much trouble he has gotten himself into. Interesting side note, the Juggernaut is not that difficult to build if you have the right parts.

Ah, terrorists. What would a war diagram be without them? Probably really boring, or even (Gasp!) artistic!

When I first started designing the structure, I had in mind a sort of run down old temple. As you can see the building has three levels.

A shot of price through the window with a terrorist taking cover beside it.

This has to be the smartest terrorists I have ever seen! He knows how to keep out of his enemies line of sight.

A shot out the door of the temple with the loyal terrorists running out to meet their rather painful demise.

Yet again another terrorist extracting all valuable intel that they have gathered so that they can at least try to escape the wrath of Task Force 141.

A rocket launcher on the roof. Seriously though, these guys can be incredibly annoying in any game. Your running along destroying all enemies that dare stand before you and suddenly your screen goes almost completely red and a moment later your dead! I mean come on! This is especially annoying in multiplayer games.

Now for the pictures without the minifigs.

My absolute favorite part of the set is the artificial pond with the statue in the middle.

Side view of the set

The lights and speakers. If you are wondering what the speakers are for, they are used to sound alarms.

The turret...

...and satellite dish.

Inside view of the rundown temple.

No villains headquarters would be complete without a table with randomly scattered gems and guns upon it. Nor without a weapons crate.

Computers and... BARREL! (Points to anyone who gets that reference.)

The top floor with a few rockets and a welding torch.

Just a picture taken from the top floor of the temple showing the grounds below, including the statue, pond, and a few well scattered rocks to provide cover.

I'm sorry, I just can't get over how much I love this pond and statue.

Here of course is Price. I have an alternate version which I should have used because the face I used doesn't show enough anger.

Secondly Soap. What kind of name is “Soap” anyways?

and of course Yuri

Lastly here is the alternate version of Price.

I have a Christmas creation which I will share later today. That's all for now!
