My entry to the final round of the Bionicle Mocing Challenge.
About this creation

Delver Toa of Gadolinium was a new Toa. In his time they were now guardians, in an almost mechanical- like suit. They now had more rare elemental Toa then they used to. Instead of having Toa of fire, air, water, earth, ground, and ice, they now had more unusual Toa like Toa of Thallium or Toa of Ruthenium. The only thing that was different was that they were all an element that used a silver color scheme.
When a monster attacked or a matoran that decided to do something when they were not supposed to a Toa would stop them. But in this case, it would take a little more a speakerphone and a pair of shock guns to stop them. But since he became a Toa, some of the older weapons were retired. For instance, a certain type of sword called the flaming sword of fire was retired because they had to push a button to activate it. (In this case, none of the new Toa was a Toa of fire, so they couldn’t activate it.) Their motto was, “One second of fumbling can cost one’s life,” in this time, scientist also known as metal alchemy Turaga (for only Turaga had the wisdom to help the Toa), tried to make a stronger and more convenient weapon for their protectors.
When Delver was created, he always had a liking for the older weapons, and soon started to collect them as a hobby. So when Delver was sent to his first mission, he brought one of his favorite weapons. That would, in the end, save his life. So, enough back- ground story, let’s get to the action.

“Delver, please report to the main briefing room to be assigned to your first mission.” the speaker said in his private quarters.
Great! Delver thought, now I can finally do a mission without having to do anymore practice rounds!
As he walked to the briefing room full of pride, he notices that other Toa were coming to the same room. I wonder why they are coming here Delver thought as he walked into the room. He also saw confused faces as they looked at him, too.

When he walked in, he saw the briefing room for the first time since he was assigned to become a Toa. When the Is’tan (a ‘higher’ breed of Turaga {supposedly said to be Turaga that were younger}) saw the Toa walking in they stood still until they stopped walking.
When one finally asked a question the silence parted, “Why are their more than one of us called into the briefing room?” said one of the Toa.
“I understand if you are confused, we invited you all to do a, what shall we call it, an experiment? We want to try to go back to Toa teams. But instead of having six, we thought of merging six together into one.“
“So you want to destroy all but one of our physical bodies and put our minds into one?” piped up one of the Toa.
“I guess you could put it that way. But we would like to call it combined personality, if you will,”
“So you basically want to kill all- of us minus one- and squish our brain capacitates together?” asked one.

“Not exactly, but anyway, who cares how we do it, we made you come here so we can ask you if you would like to do it. So, all in favor raise your hand,” he said in a confident voice. As he looked at the Toa, none of their arms went up. Losing his courage, he asked if he could take a bathroom break, and was excused.
“Well, if none of you would want to join in this little project, then we would like to excuse you and apologize of the inconvenience. But please do not share any of this information to the other Toa, and also, Delver, please stay. We would like to inform you about your first mission,” and with that, all of the Toa except for Delver was excused.

“I would first like to congratulate you for this achievement. As you know the first mission places you in a rank. But the first mission would always be not too challenging but not too easy,” said one of the Is’tan, “Are you ready?”
“Yes,” Delver said hoping not to sound toexcited.
“Okay, so first off, your enemy will be a monster that has escaped from his prison. Here is a backstory.”
His name is Quintok. He was created by the evil Tralor, who is now exterminated. The whole reason of creating Tol’jar was to make something that would protect him to the end of its life. So when Tralor died Tol’Jar started to find other people to protect. He tried to protect the Makuta, but when he was frozen in protodermis, he knew he had more to do than just protect, so he decided to find a way to become more powerful. Now with more experience, he is a deadly threat. You have been selected to compete in this mission, because you have shown outstanding skill, and we need assistance now.
“So do you accept?” asked the Is’tan.
“Yeah, sure, but why must I have to fight such a strong monster?”
“Well, if you read correctly, no one was available that had the right abilities. So good luck.”

Creator's Comments:

Well, my entry is here! Here is the link to the round! I just came back from a trip, so it might be a bit rushed. Also my camera made the wrong type of picture, so I had to make do with my old one. I hope you liked these mocs! See ya next time!

Also, sorry Stormjay that their was no action. :(

The backstory honestly didn't make a ton of sense, but the builds are alright. Good job. :P

Pretty well done! They both look great! And some wicked PU on Delver (Devler?). Overall: 19/25. Well done!

Both are good builds, and the masks used as leg armor work well. Also, great choice of gadolinium as an element. 18/25

Quoting Stormjay Rider No combat image though?
I was going to, but I just got home from a vacation, and then I took some pictures, but it ends up my new camera made the wrong type of picture, so I used my old one, but took only a couple of pictures. Sorry if this didn't satisfy your needs of combat.
