Over a year ago, Brickdoctor (great builder, be sure to add him) did his Star Wars 2012 Advent Calendar Remake in LDD. Basically, he re-did all the models in the Advent Calendar in larger scale. I forgot about it until about 5 months ago, when he posted this rendering of his Star Destroyer model. I had to have it, so I Bricklinked it. I slightly modded it, filling in the rear, replacing 4x2 plates with cheaper 2x2s, making provisions in the main hangar for a stand, strengthened the frame, and raised the deflector towers.
What took so long was being broke for while (this cost a lot, had to make 8 BL orders), and I had little time because school was hectic at the beginning of the year. The background image in the main picture came from here.
The edges of the rear were originally not filled in, I fixed it.
The original LDD file can be downloaded here. Unlike most big MOC's, this will not be broken up, instead on permanent display on my desk. Thanks for looking, please tell me how it can be improved!
Wow! What an excellent model! Exceeds Lego's model for sure! I don't know why but I can't download the file, could it possibly be sent to my eMail at: firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks in advance if it is possible and may the force be with you all!
