"It was not a very long journey to Carthal, with my own private troop to secure our safety, it was indeed very short. Blizzards had little effect on our horses, and I had no trouble dealing with bandits. But you'll want to know before that, and how I came to be of the "Average Gnomes". In short, I received a letter that my assistance was needed in a great Tourney, in which guilds from all of Mythron would be competing. Of course I love a good challenge, so naturally I accepted. Formed of a range of misfits to knights, our guild has been rumored to be: "One of the Best". I cannot see how as no one has seen us compete yet, But I will not question others' beliefs. And so, I am one with the 'Average Gnomes'."
"The walk through the parade was nearly uneventful. Winds blew stronger every minute, and my skin was covered in little more than a loincloth. I was chilled to the bone, and thoroughly miserable."
"I saw people I knew spread throughout the crowd, but I found myself only jealous of them, and not happy to see them, as they wear their garments which provide them warmth."
"Peddlers tried to sell foods and goods for outrageous sums of coin, nearly every where I looked"
"In spite of everything, a small smile crossed my face, as I looked among the crowds and saw the person who knew, loved, and cherished me the most. My mother, that kind creature full of motherly love. She stood beaming like the moon, smiling and waving to me without a care in the world."
"Happiness sparked, I looked around the crowd with a more warm heart. Some people came to share the excessive heat of the fires spread about, in and out of the City."
"While others came to enjoy the company of, and games with dear friends."
"In front of Me sat George, glinting the sun in anyones eye to allow him to show his arm off to them."
"There was no snow down along the coast, but the grounds and small ponds froze, and the air had a lingering chill about it."
"Small ponds froze, and children played games upon them, in which you needed a good strategy to win, playing upon the ice."
"one man stood out to me the most. one who called himself, "The Entertainer". A fine name, too, for it is what he did."
Dressed in purple from head to toe, he could make a joke of anything, or do any stunt you chose."
"He dazzled the crowds with his unbelievably stealthy jumps,"
"Executing each an essence of style about him,"
"And each was done with maximum precision."
"He even made the guards smile, with is worthy of praise in and of itself."
"But his amazing stunts were not to last."
"For as with all things enjoyable, they must come to an end, be it happy, or dreadful."
"And so it was with the 'Entertainer'."
"With a spin,"
"A deep bow,"
"And a twist of the cape,"
"He was gone. The crowed awed, and was without doubt a bit sad with his departure."
"I did not know what would pass in the days to come, but whatever the case I knew my friends would aid me. The time of the Tourney, had come."
There are plenty of nice details around this build. The trees look great, the pond (or mystic, glowing portal) looks good and the Entertainer is not only an excellent specimen of a minifigure, he also looks somewhat sinister.
