The Finch was extremely fast and armed heavily for it's weight class, but paid for this by having it's armoured plating greatly reduced. It often played a part in hit and run, ambush, and swarm tactic situations.
A small mech with its scale based around the part I decided to try out as a "canopy".
Long Range Artillery Mech
A small mech with an unusual background choice.
Is it a mech done in small scale or a hardsuit that doesn't fit a fig? I still don't know exactly what it is. What I do know is that I was taking apart my Snap Turtle m.flickr.com/#/photos/53458657@N04/10004740464/ and well.. it didn't make it all the way to the scrap yard and was recycled into this. Also, some heavy editing was involved in this picture.
Fascinating and brilliantly presented. I like the red one the best, especially how you've used the red cranes in the hip joints. Great to see a piece from the mid 1970s used in such a modern build. I also like the neat, simple display stand.
Now those are some really nice micro mechs! I should look into some hero factory/bioncle parts more often when building my own. The shapes you've achieved are near impossible without them. I especially like the second one there!
The way you made the first one's legs with the old towing truck parts is genius! I had to make a double take to make sure those were the pieces you used. All three look cool as hell, the last one in particular, looking like a really buff juggernaut suit.
