About this creation
"Oh....that's nice. Ash on my tomatoes!"
Entry two for the Middle Earth LEGO Olympics, Barad-Dur Bracket, facing the bricks family patriarch Dodge.
Farmer Maggot, having decided to escape from the pesky, food stealing Hobbits, relocated his farm to Rohan. Smelling smoke one day, he went out to his crops for an unpleasant surprise. "Oh....that's nice. Ash on my tomatoes!" he cried, seeing a great smouldering pile of Uruk-Hai...

The Fanghorn forest.

The Uruk-Hai, killed by the Rohirrim.

The heroes might need to leave before they get ash on themselves...
Thanks to the judges for their time, and to all the spectators. Best of luck to Dodge, and apologies for posting a smaller entry than I usually would.

Hey Luke, I very much appreciate the hilarious dark-humored twist here! But unfortunately, I think your opponent wins on merit of overall build. Your work here is top-notch as usual, but I think it's a little too simplistic to override Adam's build. My vote goes to your opponent, but well played nonetheless! Heh, hopefully Pippin escaped this burning with as much success as the last one! There would be a lot more ash on his tomatoes if he didn't. ;)

Hi LCV, great job! I instantly recognized your figurines as non-lego collectibles you were going for. I am a little underwhelmed with the size and complexity of your build however, as it just seems like figs on some plates (given, very good plates). With that said, I think your opponents bravery at going for a stronger and harder entry needs to be commended. He gets my vote. Good luck with the other judges!

This was a good try, however my vote goes to your opponent.
Thanks for the lightning fast judging guys, much appreciated. Can't say I expected a different result, Adam deserves the win and should be able to muster more time/talent in future rounds than I. Great having had the opportunity to compete again!

I have to admit, I was expecting something lusher and bigger; but what's here is very carefully and skillfully done. Good luck! |

Awesome! Good luck!
Could you please do the scoring in my contest? There are only 14 entry's. I already did it today, but I was just now pasting it into the comment, and I deleted it all by clicking past before even copying the scoring and stuff, so the last thing I copied got pasted where I had the scores, and then I couldn't click undo, so I ruined it all. >:( And I really don't want to re do it. Thanks! I hope you can do it.
Thanks Bill. Too bad about the missing scores, but unfortunately I've not the time to do any judging this week. Hope it all works out! |
