The Tourney 2014.

Silly costumes, cheesy vendettas, smashing chairs and who-knows-what else... Since this bracket is called "wrestling," deal with your opponent in the ring as a showman and not necessarily a gentleman.
Link to my opponents build with very nice action-photography.
My next task in the Tourney was to defeat an opponent in a classic wrestling match. We had to choose silly costumes, so I naturally chose the most sinister among them: A Raven. I also picked a cape, even though I knew it would be dangerous, to lure my opponent into thinking that I was inexperienced.
I was facing a man named Bill. I knew, from asking around, that he had been beaten before. But that time he had been beaten by an orc, so I knew I would still have to be careful...
We stood facing each other in a wrestling-ring. The rules had been made clear to us: No weapons, no going off the platform. The ring was in the middle of a market square, and quite a few people had come to watch.
Silently, I looked at my opponent, trying to judge his strength. But that was hard to do, since he was in a costume of a big, hulking minotaur. I just hoped he had the same problem with me.
He rushed towards me. I slid easily to the side, bringing him off balance...
And I used his momentum to shove him face first into the hard wood.
Bill didn't bother much, shooting right back up and bringing me off balance. I tried to get my balance back, but he shoved me and then kicked my legs out from under me.
As I fell, he grabbed my cape. A big mistake. He tugged at it, maybe meaning to choke me, but instead, he brought me back to my feet. Prompt, the cape ripped, and, because he had been pulling with all his might, he toppled backwards, very annoyed and angry.
With a grunt, he got back up.
Someone from the audience hollered a cheer and threw some kind of flower into the ring.
I gripped the flower, and before Bill knew it, I had stuffed it straight into his face, tipping him backwards and leaving him confused.
As he was still struggling to stay on his feet, I darted to his side and ripped one of the horns out of his mask. Without hesitating, I rammed it into the fake snout. Then I shoved him backwards and ripped out the horn.
Bill toppled fantastically over the edge of the ring and stayed there, breathing heavily.
I walked to the center of the ring, and held up the horn.
And the crowd cheered...
Except for those two old grumpy dudes.
Gnome: "Hey, you do know that that's the wrong symbol on your armor?"
Crimson Knight: "Oh? Ah, ehh... I'm in disguise!"
Carrier guy 1: "D'ya see what happened the match before this? Haha!"
Carrier guy 2: "Yah, the Crimson Knight nearly got hit unconscious, the poor guy right did."
Carrier guy 3: "De gnomey totally beat the knight, bu' then the knight throw one teeny insult at 'im an' 'e falls 's if he been stabbed!"
Carrier guy 4: "Bet dat's embarrassing!"
Now, for some detail pictures!
The ring. This is the first part of the build. It uses up almost all of my brown and olive cheese slopes (better go get some more!), and was really hard to design. I love the use of the string, and the form in general just looks great, in my opinion.
The gray house. It looks very color-less, but my light-gray was already used up...
An armor shop. I like it way better than the dark gray one...
The first house I built, and the best.
This house I don't like that much. It basically a longer version of the house I had in my TT Intro. This one doesn't look so great. Maybe it's the use of 1x1 bricks with studs on one side instead of headlight bricks... or the roof.
The interior of the dark gray house. It's OK...
The tiled floor of the shop. I got some 1x1 light blue tiles from Pick-a-Brick, and I think I can but then to good use here...
The Interior of the Light gray house. I still think it's the best...
The interior of the white house front is ugly, and I didn't actually really try to make it look nice either, so I won't show it.
And another whole view. The floor of the build was tricky, because I don't have enough dark gray slopes of either _x1 or _x2 slopes, so I used both. The _x1s have sloping grilles, which the _x2s don't, so you can distinguish them.
Well, I really loved making this. The Ring and the floor I am most proud of, but the houses, too. I had more pictures for the match, but they were bad, so I left them out. I still had the story go the way I took the pictures, though. It is hard with my small tripod, because the sloped floor always broke when I put a leg of the tripod on it.
Good luck to you, Elven Ranger! I had a blast at the tourney so far...
Your very cool ring definitely added a lot to this scene. The buildings you added all showed some different colors/textures which I liked. All of that combined with your road texture won you my vote! Good luck with the other judges.
