I thought I already left a comment, but maybe it was on flickr or in the forum or just in my head (you know how old people are). Nevertheless, killer creation! Reminds me of Silent Hill in a good way. |

Killer work on the form, Tyler. The way you handled the region from the chest down through the abdomen gives him this look of poor posture - really challenging to get in Lego, and a great subtlety in the feel of this character! Nice work, bro! |

Was just thinking Tyler, I will have to ship my Vlug contribution to Chris or Dave this year for BW, which means I'll have room in my pack for this if you want me to bring him so you can display him. |

Outstanding work! You nailed the character of the original perfectly. I have to admit that I'm envious of Leda; not only does she have a masterpiece of yours but she also got to glimpse into how your mind assembles the world. It forever shall intrigue me how people see and organize their realities. Selecting this piece is a brilliant stroke; what you ended up with is pure Art. I am so very impressed! |

Spectacular build, probably my favourite of your works. The shaping of the waist gives so much character, brilliant. |

Quoting Leda Kat =^..^=
Well you already know how much I love this ;) Its such an inspiring piece of art Tyler. I'm honoured to own this beauty, and I ejoyed so much reasembling it because it gave me such insight into the way you build and the techniques you use that are unique to you. It took me a full day to rebuild this beast from your photos, its mega big! and was a real challenge. Not much survived the aligator post, so I am as proud of it as if I built it myself.
Cross-continental teamwork. :) I'm glad it has such a great home now.

So much about this is just wonderfully creepy. The sunken chest and swollen belly, the chained mask and the kilt. Awesome sense of scale too. Great build! |
