Name: Catok (k-tawk)
Alignment: Chaotic unknown, Currently aligned with Lordanian
Occupation: Toa (formerly), Makuta (formerly), Bridge between life and death
Titles: Brother, Executioner, Ambassador
Kanohi: Corrupted, Mask of Death
Weapons: Eradicator, Reapers
The Ambassador of Death is back.
As you can tell, this isn't an entirely new creation, just the latest and possibly final updates on Catok.
With his Reaper arms retracted.
Most the updates consist of greeble fillings and elimination of all dark gray.
Backside. More greebles and fillings. His lower legs are a place that could probably use some more work.
Some close up shots. Legs.
Torso and head.
In all his glory.
With his ax, the Eradicator.
With his Reaper arms again.
With Lordanian and Adiemus.
Note from Legofreak2444:
Well first off, Hello! I know I haven't been around forever and some people probably thought I was dead or something, but no I'm still kicking. But don't get me wrong, I'm not "back" to MOCpages, I just found some time and thought I'd post these pics of Catok from forever ago. I honestly haven't really touched my LEGO in a couple months. I suppose life has just been taking off for me and I really haven't had much time for LEGO. You might call it a Dark Age, but I think it's just me reaching the point where other things and people are more important. I've missed MOCing and hanging out here, but yea. I haven't really had any inspiration or desire to build. So sorry for kinda just disappearing on you guys. But now you know.
So some of you may be wondering, "what about the Bionicle storyline??" or "where's Catok's story?" Well Catok's story is all aligned with the long term storyline which, I'm afraid to say, hasn't been touched in months either. I'm sorry to leave it all hanging like that, but I just haven't really had time to type it all out. It's all in my head and it's awesome, just yea. I might get around to finishing it and posting it sometime, but don't get your hopes up.
So again, I'm not "back," I'm just stopping by to post this update and kinda let you know where I'm at. I might post Lordanian's updates which I never got around to either sometime, but I don't know. We'll see what happens.
I hope you enjoy this latest version of Catok. Feel free to comment and leave me a note or critique, though honestly, I might not get around to updating him again.
Thanks for looking and thanks to all my fans and fellow builders out there who have followed me throughout all these years of me being on MOCpages. I salute you.
I can't believe I waited (almost) a whole year before commenting on this ! He was always my favorite moc / character from you. I love white Bionicle Mocs, especially if they are evil and intimidating. I'm going to start with my cons of this MOC, since there aren't many. First of all, the old hand connector piece on the torso... would have looked way nicer if it was the more recent smooth ones. Seriously, that's the ONLY thing that bugs me, because everything else IS SUPER AWESOME ! :D I really love how bulky he is, and all the tiny little LEGO system greebles and stuff added on for tiny detailing makes him look more robotic and "bionicle". I LOVE how complex the upper arms, legs, and the whole body/torso design looks ! Also gotta say that you made one of the best simple looking Axes that is built soo creatively, i'm jealous I didn't think of it ! :D Amazing Moc, also gotta say i enjoyed reading your little "send off" Note message thing. IDK if you'll ever return to Mocpages but still, cheers bro ! I wish you (as well as a lot of people on Mocpages) the very best in life. :)
I would like to know more about Catok; he seems remarkably similar to a long-neglected character of mine, Drothmarr. That said, by the looks of things Drothmarr has evolved into a character resembling Catok and not the other way around. Your building style is robust yet detailed. Catok looks seriously strong and formidable. That skull shield is an excellent touch, too. :)
I love that lower-leg design, it looks amazing despite being non-custom! AND THAT AX. HOLY MUFFINS IT'S COOL! Glad to see you around again :D
I like it

I haven't really seen a Bionicle MOC in a while, I haven't touched any of my own since early last summer (though I was never good at it anyways). I guess that theme is becoming just memories in our heads now. Anyway, nice MOC, love the torso part, very transformer-like, and the back has a nice spine. Sorry to hear of your dark age, I am kind of feeling that way myself, having no inspiration. Good luck!
First off, fantastic music. I thought you weren't into the heavier stuff, even if it technically is a Christian Group. Also, cool little revamps here and there. I don't remember a lot that has changed, but he still looks cool. I completely understand how life gets in the way. I'm still dedicated to LEGO stuff, but Family, Education, and trying not to DIE all come before the LEGO stuff. I had wondered what happened to you, if you just moved over to different groups or whatever, but friends come and go all the time, it wasn't anything I was too concerned about. And now I sound like a bad person who would like to use a word that MOCpages' moderation system would accept. You know what I mean though. Keep doing whatever it is you're doing, unless it's illegal; you should probably refrain from the illegal stuff. K BAI! :D
Nice to hear from you after such a long hiatus. It's good to hear an update on that which has been happening preventing use of the pages. Of course your reasons are completely understandable. Anywayz MOC critique... Catok is a very good MOC, aesthetically pleasing. I think my biggest problem with the guy is all the hand sockets that have been scattered around without utilizing the ball socket connections, making it seem like he's a bit empty. Of course that could just be me. The way in which you have constructed the lower leg around a Metru leg is very impressive. I think the best bit of this MOC is the torso and upper arms. I myself think they need no more work. But overall this is an excellent MOC and you should be proud.
Once again, nice to hear from you.
