In 2013, The Food Network televised the 4th "Great Food Truck Race" and eight teams from across the US participated in the contest. A team from Hawaii called the "Aloha Plate" team used a combination of menu creativity and flexibility to prepare tasty dishes to customers located in different cities in the US. In each city where the teams competed, the teams needed to use a local theme / product / delicacy as part of the weekly menu challenge. The Aloha Plate team utilized their social media marketing savvy, and the "coconut wireless" to let scores of Polynesian and Hawaiian supporters scattered throughout the US know where the team was competing each week. Using existing pieces in my collection, this moc is my representation of the winning team's food truck.
