"The Last Stand (or the Last Battle)"- Well this is it, it has all come down to this! Build a scene showing your forces making a "final stand" against the enemy horde. This can be a castle defense or defending a military base. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Choose one of the following combat categories: - Castle/Medieval Combat
- Modern (WII-present) Combat
- Futuristic Combat 2. Your entries MUST include the following: - A MINIMUM of 7 minifigures
- A MINIMUM of one defensive structure
- A MINIMUM of one siege vehicle
- At least 18 studs of landscaping. 3. PLEASE NOTE: Your entries MUST be a MINIMUM of 52x52 (or 64x64), no maximum size limit.
I really like the theme(star wars is always awesome!) and your landscaping is better than your opponents. unfortunately he gets my vote. the detail of his main building and the size and cool weapons of his army(Aka the siege tower) top your entry by just a bit. great entry though!
Note: I am sorry this is all so late. I have been sick and busy with school and I don't know what has happened to RBC but I am going to try to get the rest of the judges to judge and then if we can, post the winners and finally finish this contest.
Excellent work friend! As some other(s) have said, it looks like you stretched your collection a tiny bit. I'd love to see you attempt another base, maybe on a bit smaller landscape so you can add more detail...
Nice build Graham, however I have to somewhat agree with what Halhi said. Still there are some very refined details in your MOC such as the speeder, which in my opinion gives you the edge against Abby. Good luck!
Pretty nice build. I think both of your entries show why I disliked the size requirement rule; it requires a big collection and I think that both of you appear to have run out of pieces, and the detail (in your entry) and cleanness (in Abby's) suffers a bit because of that. That isn't a fault of either of yours though, it's more a problem with the contest itself. That being said, this is quite a nice build; the rocks are pretty good and the masonry brick ground is really nice; I need to try something like that. Good luck!
Great build! The action is great and I like the included interior. The little areas of rock are nice touches, too. My only suggestion is to make the landscaping a little more interesting, maybe by adding some change in elevation. Well done and good luck!
