The ubiquitous Cargo Manipulation Unit (CMU) of the Star Trek universe. And friends.
About this creation
Not the right logo for this era but you get the picture.
I've been working on a new starship project, and it had what I thought were small shuttlebays so I started designing a movie-era shuttlepod. But as I proceeded it became clear that the hatches were too small for that and were probably only cargo doors, so I switched gears and built a Work Bee instead.
The grabber attachment has full articulation.
With cargo sled... These cute little machines are like orbital shunt trucks.
The CMU has a front-entry cockpit with controls on the armrests. Are you certified?
Now, off to drydock 4 to make my delivery!
Here's the shuttlepod, it's based on the Galileo from Star Trek V.
Entry is from the rear with a small ramp and a hatch that swings up, right between the engines. Care to check out the local flora?
Finally, an EVA suit with booster pack.
Remember to clear the airlock before activating!
Of course, it helps to check the fuel level first...
