Ronnie Peterson was one of the most talented swedish driver of all time.
Shining in F1 aboard what ever you could give him to drive.
Entering the F1 championship in a private team running March 701s, his skill had been remarked by March Factory who offered him a factory car for 1971: the 711.
This is this car i've built, in a very special version.
Indeed, this car was usualy Ford DFV powered butwas entered several time with an Alfa Romeo V8 directly dumped from the Alfa Romeo 33/3 sportscar.
Aboard this brave March 711, Ronnie ended the season at place 2, behind Jackie Stewart (Tyrrell).
He has had a brillant carreer with Jps Lotus, Tyrrell (he drove the 6 wheeled P34).
Unfortunately, Ronnie died from consequences of a huge accident involving several drivers at Grand Prix of Italy 1978.
Huge update on this moc: Almost all area of the car have been modified: engine, exhaust, suspensions (inboard front set up out as horizontal rear set up), new shocks, retooled front part, retooled cockpit, enhanced detail in engine area including coolant system), new lateral water cooler.
