The only real differences are the acid green stripe and the hard suit on the back. The original was lost in battle.
About this creation
The Compensator was developed as a main battle tank style of mech. It is a 16 wheel rolling assault vehicle with the ability to convert into a mech for extreme combat situations.
The Compensators main weapon is the self loading 700mm Coil accelerated cannon.
The gun is fired in a traditional ballistic way using APFSDS rounds, the tungsten dart and sabot of the round are then accelerated using a massive coil in the front part of the barrel, the resulting velocity at muzzle is 5km per second with a kinetic energy of just under 150 megajoules.
Here is a shot of the pilot standing next to one of the APFSDS rounds, the rounds used by the Acid Krew Rebel force are special in that the core of the darts contain a rod filled with fluoroantimonic acid
. The design is such that the tungsten dart uses kinetic energy to puncture enemy armour, the force of impact ruptures the dart pushing the acid into the target.

A few facts about Fluoroantimonic acid
Rapidly and explosively decomposes upon contact with water.
Evolves highly toxic vapors.
Fluoroantimonic acid is 2◊1019 (20 quintillion) times stronger than 100% sulfuric acid. Fluoroantimonic acid has a H0 (Hammett acidity function) value of -31.3.
Dissolves glass and many other materials and protonates nearly all organic compounds (such as everything in your body). This acid is stored in PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tubes inside the tungsten darts.
The Compensator has three crew members.
The right side is where the commander sits, all visual data, radar and communications are directed to the commander, it is their job to keep an over view of the developing battle and give orders accordingly.
The left side of the mech is where the pilot sits, it is the pilots job to drive the mech aim the cannon and fire. The pilot basically has full control of the vehicle. The controls are exactly the same on each side of the mech so the commander can take over the role of pilot and vice versa.

The middle of the mech is where the engineer is housed. itís the engineers job to ensure the mech is operating properly, all mech diagnostics are directed to the engineer, the mech should operate normally without the engineer having to do anything but itís nesecary to have one on board in case of any mechanical/electrical problems.
The pilot and commander each have a 35mm auto cannon mounted under their stations, these can be fired manually or automatically and are deigned to take down light armour and infantry.
The radar folds down to protect it in when under heavy fire.
On the rear of the mech there is room to carry a light mech or hard suit, there is a VSL lifting arm for loading ammo and equipment and also for deploying the hardsuit.
This mech has an adapted forestry hardsuit known as the Grasshopper.

The Grasshopperís battery is charged when itís loaded on the back of the mech. when loaded the guns can be controlled by the engineer from inside the mech.
