Developed along side the Wasp Fighter, the Rhino Battle Mech was built as a ground unit for the infantry, as well as Marines, light, strong, high firepower, and reliable, it proved just as effective on the ground as the Wasp has in the air/space, and like the wasp, it has no plan to be retired any time soon
-360 rotating upper portion, allows for extreme attack, and counter attack
-air tight cockpit allows this mech to be used anywhere, even space...
-magna-lock shoes allow this mech to fight in space (remember Star Trek: First Contact)
-heavy pulse gun takes out targets with ease
-arms are modular, figurations include: 2 Rifle arms; 1 rifle arm, and 1 claw arm; and 2 claw arms
-powered by twin micro nuclear reactors, allowing a range of 10 years before refueling
-strong legs allows for running speeds of 60 MPH
-as with the Wasp, reverse polarized aluminum absorbs enemy electropulse weapons
-a limited production of 5 mechs to be employed with an experimental EMP deflector,
if proven effective against enemy EMP, current stables of the E-100 SHBT may be rendered
Mini-Backstory: the EMP deflector is a must, seeing that everytime the enemy engages in ground warfare, they deploy an EMP right before they attack rendering current high tech Human Weapons useless, meaning the humans have resorted to many "analog" technologies, such as producing the German WWII E-100 SHBT (Super Heavy Battle Tank) because the steel armor absorbs the electropulse weapons. and all electronics in the SHBT have been coverted to analog use, the engine, which has been modded to Diesel, is manual crank started, meaning the SHBT is uneffected by EMP, and the 150mm cannon destroys the composite-resin armor of the enemy, proving that while it may not have been a smart idea in WWII, on this battlefield is an MVP of a weapon...
expect to see the E-100 SHBT soon in my sci-fi folder...
