Fun fact: this aircraft was partially completed when production was halted at the end of WWII.

Quoting john lamarck Well done but it's too big to be minifig scale. The main undercarriage wheels are too small.
I would remake this if I could. And I may. I do not have any different sized wheels, and I think it is close enough to be minifig scale. It is pretty much to scale with my little He 162 and that is minifig scale. This plane is one of the larger fighters designed during WWII.

Quoting clayton Marchetti Thank you Bill! One of these days I'll get back into aircraft , and with all the new parts the skies the limit :-) one of the nice things about the Stuka is it had fixed landing gear. There's probably better ways to do the wheel shoes though. Are you done with those pics or do you need them up still?
No, i'm done with them. thank you! I would actually recommend making pages for those planes! I never knew you made aircraft, because I never saw any (well, besides the Batcopters).

Quoting clayton Marchetti Magnificat! That's the aircraft alright. I love the landing gear mechanism that's awesome! Fantastic shaping of the fuselage . Cockpit looks cool I like the storage area. You certainly put a lot of time and research into this masterpiece . Thank you for the mention by the way! There's no doubt in my mind that the Russians and the Americans copied this airframe especially when you look at the US and Britains first jets. Thank you for building this beautiful aircraft. Excellent work!
Hey Clayton would you like me to make something else (besides the Ho229, i couldn't do it)? I'm out of ideas.

I do agree that the wheels are quite small, but they are all I had. I also know the plane is quite big for minifig scale, but by the time I realized it was too large I was almost finished with the fuselage and in no mood to redo it.

Quoting Stephan N Very cool, the way you build is very nice. To attach the wings so is a good idea
Thank you! The wings, although they look nice, are actually very delicate. As is the tail.

Quoting XY EZ Really really excellent job!! I love the shaping! One little point of criticism is may be that the rear wing is a bit top long compared to the rest of the plane... 5/5 8-)
Thanks! Yeah, the tail was the hardest part to do, as it needed a certain angle and also weighed a lot, so the early models used to pull the rear off. I had to settle on a design that was light enough to go back there without any structural issues. This came at the cost of looking less realistic.

I don't know yet (but I'm pretty sure it will be a plane of some sort!), but I'll see what I can do. And by the way, I think that your mini batcopter looks excellent!

Quoting Henrik Jensen Nice model! You have really been creative with the landing gear. In my view, you have hit the shape quite well, maybe the tailrudder is just a tiny bit too high / long.
Thank you! The tail was quite hard to get exact. If I had made it slightly more detailed it would have been too heavy and I would there fore need to redesign the entire rear end of the jet to conform to the extra wieght.
