I'm terrible with illusions, and I thought building 2D drawings was a bit boring, so I decided to build Relativity, even if this had been done several times. To make it themed, castle was an obvious choice for me.
This shot was a hassle to photograph. David Alexander Smith was very much right about the exact placement of lines, something this build doesn't highly excel in. Eh, close enough.
This section was the starting point when building, everything else of course just went from there.
The rockwork in here is satisfactory, but definitely sub par of my usually better efforts. When building for 8 hours straight until 1:30 AM, though, building quality usually decreases, for me at least.
The textures on the walls are a bit inconsistent. While I have spaces on the walls that are jammed with textures, there are several places where the walls are bare.
I really wish that dark grey tile could be light bley, but I ran out.
Oh, forgot to comment on this earlier. Fantastic interpretation, Stephen! It's instantly recognizable, even from the thumbnail, and has an appropriately mind-bending effect. The architecture and rockwork are both beautiful. Congrats on your great scores so far, and good luck with the remaining judges!
