Role playing adventures are fine but when you want something bigger, turn to Warhammer. The war machines have been finished and I'm now working on the structures. Each team gets a certain amount of points to buy castle sections and an army. Objectives can be different but the basic one is to destroy the oppositions keep. Each unit gets a certain movement and attack which is measured with a 2x6 brick (like a ruler). When an attack is made, the attacker rolls a Lego dice to find the result. Terrain can be made of bricks or simply a table top. Armies so far are ogres, orcs, humans, yetis, barbarians, undead, monster, and mercenaries (giants, centaurs). Teams can also purchase equipment, potions, mounts, etc. with victory gold. Maybe even Heroica heroes could be used as champions with special abilities?
The airship has no combat ability but cannons and crew can be added.
Glad to help inspire. I definitely wish I had the bricks to build all of these. The Trojan horse was originally smaller but ended up growing to a more realistic size and also so that it could conceal troops inside (the smaller only fit 2 men). I would be excited to see a posting if/ when you finish your! A level for it would be fantastic.
Very cool concepts. I've been working on a Trojan Horse concept since I first bought the game, but I still haven't finalized it or built the stage to use it with. Mine is a lot smaller though. Love your catapults and the full-sized airship! I haven't built anything on that scale but yours is really inspirational to do so.
