An explorer wades through a black, twisted, ruinous landscape filled with monsters and treachery. If you are poetic, you could compare the twisted landscape to the struggles of life and wading through the evil and depression of life. If you aren't it is just a freaky landscape that an explorer is attempting to traverse. Because all of the 48x48 stud plate is made of black bricks, the safe path above the monsters and rubble becomes unclear, or two dimensional from some angles. This is intentional, to add to the allusiveness and confusion of the landscape. I have provided several high quality pictures, from a multitude of angles and lighting, unphotoshopped as requested.
4th Wall: This is by far the largest vignette I have created so far. A lot of time and planning went into it. I hope it is good enough to go in the book!

Nice idea. Decent but could use a bit of work and the photography could be better. I suggest you revise this at some point because I think it could be improved upon. Good start though.
I agree the photography could be better, but unfortunately he requested originals, so photo touch ups could not be applied..
