Oracle Amarr attack battlecruiser from the game EVE Online
About this creation
This is an Oracle, an Amarr attack battlecruiser capable of fielding a full rack of battleship-sized lasers. This ship provides strong mid-range DPS using mega pulse lasers, while having higher mobility and cheaper hull cost than a battleship. The downside of the Oracle, like any attack battelcruiser in EVE, is its weak tanking abilities. It fairs best as supporting DPS, sniping enemies and taking advantage of positioning.

The design of the Oracle comes from a design contest that was held on Deviantart. This ship holds special significance for me because the Oracle was my favorite design from that contest, and I voted for it. It did not win first place, so I was elated when I discovered that it would be included in EVE anyway. It is a vertical ship, which is the height of space fashion, and the curvy design is very beautiful.

From the game EVE Online:
In YC 113 Empress Jamyl Sarum I challenged Amarr ship manufacturers to build a new battlecruiser that would break the stalemate of the Empyrean War. Deviating from the doctrine of brute-force and heavy armor, the engineers at Viziam took inspiration from Caldari history.

During the Gallente-Caldari War, the Caldari developed light, maneuverable ships to counter the slow ships of the Gallente Federation. This philosophy, along with a cutting-edge powertrain and ultra-light alloy armor plating, led to the Oracle.

The Empire immediately ordered the ship into production. The Empress personally congratulated Viziam Chief Researcher Parud Vakirokiki, calling the ship "a work of Divine Grace for the Empire, and retribution to our enemies."

This model was very very challenging, with its curves and angles, and took many iterations before I was satisfied with the results. It is by no means perfect, but at such a small scale I believe I achieved a very recognizable representation of the ship from the game.

Quoting Stephan N I love your ships that are really awesome
Thank you, I am wondering since you are a fan of my creations, what do you think of the small scale? For me it presents a unique challenge, but I am not sure how my audience here feels about it.
