The Shrew Mk.1a(C) was the battlefield communitcations version.
About this creation
The crew of a Shrew set up an observation post at an old destroyed building.
It's small size and extreme speed allowed the Shrew to roam across the battlefield, allowing it to get behind enemy lines and spot for artillery and air strikes, as well as finding ambushes and observing enemy movements.
The Shrews one drawback was the size of the communications antennae. This was made up for by the extreme communications range, which meant the shrew could do deep infiltrations without the worry of losing contact with Head Quarters.
It also carried an eperimental short distance radar, which allowed detail analysis of the area whilst on the move.
