Quoting Sven Jagdmann Cool, father and son together on Mocpages :) Thats really cool. The figure is also a really nice one and you did a very good job :)
Thanks Sven, I've seen your creations. I couldn't tell the FDNY engine 5 14th street express update was lego. It looked so real, I thought the lego one was just a picture of a REAL firetruck.

Comes very close to the to animated series style - a case o letting those limited pieces work for you. Nice poses and accessories. Great build and entry.

Wow. That is cool. I love the scythe and the use of the bananas for hair. The way the hat comes off is cool as well. Well done! =)

This is a case of thin, wispy, and lanky are in order. Your design and part selection for any other character would seem atrophied; however, in this instance, it could be nothing else. Perfect shape and frightening feel. Something deeply mocking and inhuman about a scarecrow in general and what you’ve captured here is nothing short of creepy. Those eyes look like they could bore right through you and that scythe is properly oversized to give the impression that there is supernatural strength behind the humble appearance. The pic of him holding his hat is wickedly deceptive and defining of the evil nature within; it reminds me of Alex the Droog from A Clockwork Orange as he extends his hand to help his “friend” out of the water only to surprise him with a blade in the other hand. The two Mystery Pieces work great but my eyes are drawn to his neckline and collar. Very clever. Outstanding!

Fantastic design, a very realistic scarecrow figure. The hat, hair, and stuffing really stand out for me, great work!

Quoting BrickBuilder7622 . Awesome; the parts usage for this MOC is ingenious! Really like the way that you utilized the pieces to make this recognizable character! Excellent work! 5/5! :-)
Thanks, I'm happy how it came out, especially since brown pieces and hinges are rare in my LEGO collection. I had to make the bananas for the straw hair since I needed some mystery pieces. :D

Quoting Tim C Superb. I think it has just enough creepiness to it to pull off your intention. Nice use of the MP's, and that huge sickle adds a certain malevolence to the character that would be absent without it. Really great work, Scarecrow, and best of luck in the contest.
Thanks, my dad kept saying how the 1x1 rounded tiles for the eyes look very creepy and he liked the pointed chin.

Quoting MortalSwordsman . Well well well we have a chip off the old block here (I see you have inherited some building skills from your old dad). An excellent figure very well proportioned which is always difficult with Lego. Love the photo without his hat. Good luck.
My Dad tried to tell me to try all these technics but I got impatient so I worked with it myself. I am very happy with how this turned out.
