Delivery Van III WIP
Expecting a delivery (like I am)? Waiting for more Legos! LOL
About this creation

Here is an attempt on improving my previous delivery van (link below) but it did not have a rear door, I just left it open, no photo though. I think the new rims make a better looking van. The problem is the rear doors. Lego only makes a reddish brown right door, not a left one! Sigh! Normally this type of van would have a sliding up door but I do not have an idea on how to do that in this size of vehicle, any suggestions from those of you that have a lot more creativity than I do?

The LXD/LDD is provided BUT I have not perfected it so it will/may need to be refined
if you plan on building one in real brick.

Quoting Steffen Kasteleiner Nice van! Reminds me of the sitcom "The king of Queens" with Kevin James, which I quite liked back in the day. I especially like the built-in fenders a lot, BTW.
Hey Steffen, thanks! I looked as some of your creations today, WOW!

Quoting Marcus Paul Looks great! If it's only an aesthetic thing you could try to build the other door upside down. Might be possible. But probably it must be openable and you need the room inside. In this case it's difficult, I guess ...
Hey Marcus, thanks for stopping by, always appreciate it. It is for a customer but I gave him an option for just one door off center so the vehicle is playable.

Oh man, too bad. Did'nt know that the hinges are not available in that colour. But at the moment i can't do much for you. Will eventually have some time for it at the weekend but i can't promise it. Sorry my friend but tomorrow will be a busy day for me.

Quoting Joao Campos Although I'm not a big fan of 'uncovered' studs, I like the general shape and all the details. You captured very well the familiar look of this type of van. As for the doors, I don't have a better solution - maybe you'll have to change the van's overall color, or even create a pattern with two or three colors to match the rear doors'.
Hey Joao, thanks! Well the color is all important, it has to be reddish brown, but I do agree, I have done this in white, added to post.

Quoting Sven Jagdmann Hey my friend, received your mail :) Thanks a lot for it. Will look for a solution of the back doors. Eventually you could use my solution for the back doors of my ambulance. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/373658 I think you should try it out :) Btw, the van is really nice so far. But i would use flat tiles for the roof. I'm still waiting for a order, but maybe it got lost. Should reach me yesterday or today but nothing arrived... Not good. Hope the best and that it's not gone. Btw, the order is paid. Now i have to place the next orders for parts. Keep up your great work my friend.
Hey Sven my friend, I had looked it up online and there does not seem to be reddish brown hinges in the plate form like you used, I was disappointed! Why, I do not know but I am going to complain! LOL
