The Bergetiger was the name the Allied forces gave to a German World War II armored tracked vehicle based on the Tiger I chassis. The vehicle was found abandoned on a roadside in Italy with terminal engine problems. The main gun had been removed, and a boom & winch assembly had been fitted to the turret. No other Tiger tanks modified in this manner were ever recovered.
Tiger I. Well, It's too well known, info is no need :)
Tiger I Late Command version
Early(Tan) and Mid(Grey) productions. I myself am a fan of the early production Tiger.
Sturmtiger is an assault gun built on the Tiger I chassis and armed with a large rocket launcher. Its primary task was to provide heavy fire support for infantry units fighting in urban areas. The few vehicles produced fought in the Warsaw Uprising, the Battle of the Bulge and the Battle of the Reichswald. The fighting vehicle is also known under a large number of informal names, among which the Sturmtiger became the most popular
This is the Jagdsturmtiger, It was never built in real life. Its basically a sturmtiger converted to a gun tank, but without the turrett. Still looks pretty cool though :D
And finally, an extra pic:
Thanks for watching, pls rate and comment!
The bergetiger is awesome, not a model you'd see everyone doing. The sturmtiger is great and your "jagdtiger" concept is very interesting, it's nice to see you putting those tiger models to good use :)
