LAAT/ Republic Gunship
Decided to beef up and customize the 7576 Republic Gunship.
About this creation
Front shot. Changed the color scheme and I like how it turned out.

You'll notice a lot of the LAAT is now studless, it turned out well on my MTT so I figured I'd give it a shot. Also added those turret bubbles and made my own engines.

Custom engines. I used pieces from the V-19 Torrent set and love how they turned out. Moved away from the white and crimson colors of the old engines and took on all black. I think they contrast the rest of the LAAT very nicely.

The left wing. Didn't have enough studless white pieces to do the wings unfortunately, but I still like how they look. Added some crimson pieces and placed rockets underneath.

Bubble turret.

Troop bay doors are studless now. I like how they turned out.

Crimson red front and cannons.

The energy core of the gunship. I apologize for the fuzziness of this picture. This detailing was done a couple years back and hasn't been touched since. The core is removable, with dials to check the energy output levels and efficiency.

The rear loading ramp. Changed it a little bit, but pretty much the original ramp from the set.

Changed this section a little bit. Now holds 4 extra rockets.

Updated the troop bay itself. Now holds about 6 troops comfortably. The wheel there is actually a winch for the repelling chain.

The speeder is attached to the rear loading ramp.

Ok the speeder is kinda lame, but I couldn't figure out how to make anything else fit. If you guys know of any small speeders that could work here, please let me know.

Another shot of the troop bay.

Medical bay. Just a simple stretcher.

My sig-fig and a squad of clones prepare to repel into battle.

A clone trooper descends using the chain.

Join the fight!

The little scene I made.

============================
I hope you enjoyed looking at my LAAT mods, I really like how they turned out. Took me a few hours to get everything just the way I wanted and I'm proud of the work I did.
============================

The scene you see in the last few pictures is a small part of my updated Republic Base, which I hope to have uploaded in the next week or so. Keep an eye out for it!

Awesome job, the fact that it's stud less makes it all the more awesome. However, minor nitpick: the wing bubble turrets are supposed to be unmanned, so there shouldn't be clones in them.

The LAAT is great, and I really like your sig-fig with the combination of the grey hair and beard!

Welldone mod! i like the smoothness, now. Most i like the energy-core. Maybe you can attach two wedge-plates, or slopes at the bottom-rear-ankle of the troop-cabin, for looking more stable. I will figure out an new speeder ( for one minifig). Great work!
