Dream, from Neil Gaiman's "Sandman."
About this creation

Dream, or Morpheus, the protagonist from Neil Gaiman's comic series "Sandman."

"Sandman" is my sister's favorite comic, and as she's at an internship out of town and the next time I see her will be at Brickworld when she visits, I decided to surprise her with this, my sixth bust. Enjoy!

All the "Sandman" busts were spot on, but the lights and the hair make this one stand out!

Wow, those eyes are frightening me. The hairs seem to me as if they blow in the wind. The face is reminiscent of a gaunt person, because it is so rich details. It's the best thing I've seen on human face lineaments so far. Very awesome

Wonderful job on the hair! The glowing eyes are great! I really like the colors and the shaping of the face. The curve of the collar is excellent!

Quoting Clever Crowe Magnificent! I am admittedly biased as a huge fan of the Source material (your Sis clearly has good taste), but completely aside; this shape crafting is marvelous. To give you a compliment on the Bust I doubt you'd have expected; I truly LOVE the minute little details you put into the BASE column. Those three little graduating slopes for each corner terminus... the MOC didn't need it to be awesome, but the work you put into is like an exclamation point at the end of a great sentence. I shall let the other Commentors wax verbose about that epicEPICepic mane of hair. =) 5/5, a BuilderFave, and I have EpicFoldered you, simply upon the basis of this MOC's merit. Profound compliments.
Thank you so much. I am glad you like the base, as I try to make every one have enough detail to add to the effect overall without detracting from the build itself. It makes me very pleased that you noticed.

I'm nearly speechless, Tyler. Nearly. This is spectacular. I'm pretty sure that this is my favorite of your busts. The pale skin is chilling and I'm always amazed at how your able to get the different facets of the human, (or humanoid), face. The MOC wouldn't be the same without the glowing eyes. My favorite part, though, is the windblown hair. That is what keeps me coming back to see it again. Superb work, Tyler, and this will be a highlight of my trip to BW.

You did Gaiman quite proud with this Tyler. I think it's really some of your tightest work to date. Emotion is oozing out of him, eyes on OR off. Some of the most crazy part usage I've ever seen in his hair. Tentacles, slopes, octopi, everything but the Lego kitchen sink. Truly amazing work, can't wait to reassemble it at BW. ;) Outfreakinstanding!
