95' Rear-Mount Aerial
This is Orange County, FL, Fire Rescue's Truck 51.
About this creation
UPDATE - 6/11/14 MKII pics are up!!

Thanks to Jon D.'s sharp eye, the height of the rig has been corrected to 95 feet. Thanks again, Jon!

The rear. Does it look OK now??

Comparison with the Bronto. Sorry about it being such a bad angle.

This picture is for reference only. I do NOT own this image.

UPDATE 6/9/14:

Thanks, guys! MKII pics should be up tomorrow!

UPDATE - 6/10/14 MKII pics are delayed. :( The body is finished; I'm just working on the tower. A WIP picture of the old tower mounted on the new chassis is below:

Is that short enough? Or should it be shorter??

Quoting Lee Jones A very slick design, and what is not to love about firetrucks. Lee.
Thanks, Lee!

Quoting Lego Jim .... That's really awesome. I'm not usually into fire trucks, but that is totally cool. Excellent job.
Thanks!

Quoting Arjav Garg Thanks for commenting on my latest creation. I mean if a fat guy jumped into that basket the ladder would start to shiver . Also if u use another beam or something to join the basket from the other side it would be more stable.
You're welcome. Thanks for the clarification! I get what you're saying, I'll get right to work.

Quoting Arjav Garg That fire trucks ladder looks kinda weak
Thanks Arjav! Do you mean when the tower is extended? Or just in general?

Quoting JWG 258 With the exception of the photo having "orange county" on the side, the LDD version is an accurate duplicate of the real thing.
Thanks! :) When it's built in bricks, I hope to have decals that'll make them look almost identical.

Quoting Jon D Very nice build Josh! Everything looks great, but there's just one little detail, E-one makes 95' and 100' tower ladders, I don't think they make a 105' TL, Seagrave does! Still a great creation though!
Thanks, Jon! You're correct on the heights of the towers; that's a mistake on my part, I'll have to correct it with the MKII pics coming tomorrow.

Quoting Brickcity 101 Nice one Josh! But as said earlier, shorten down the rear just a bit. Looks a little too long for a RMA.
Thanks, Tim! I've reworked the chassis so it's 2 studs shorter, I just need to finish the aerial itself. Then I'll upload MKII pics - provided MOCpages cooperates. I'm sure you know how that is. :P
