About this creation
Name: Atokas Barwulf

Faction: Enalica

Position: Barbarian Prince.

Greetings. My name is Atokas Barwulf. I expect you know yours. You're probably wondering what I'm doing, standing on the top of a dead tree, precariously perched over a waterfall. Well I'll tell you...

It seems like only yesterday when I swaggered into the Chief-tan's tent in high spirits. Weeks earlier, I had been given an epic quest in order to prove my worth to my clan. I had to journey deep underneath the Firey Mountains and slay Smog, a terrible dragon who had been plaguing us incessantly! And as proof of my victory, I had to present my Chief-tan with one of his teeth. This was NOT an easy task, I assure you! But I'd returned unscathed, (Or should I say, Unscorched) with the tooth in hand, and had acquired a pretty cool cape in the adventure!

And there HE was. The former Scourge of the Six Seas, the Fierce Leader of a Powerful Barbarian clan, A War Hero Rolling in Riches, Vanderlurk Barwulf!! At least, that was his full title... I just called him Dad.

I respectfully knelt before his throne, and presented him with the tooth.

He examined it carefully, and finally spoke. “Well done, me boy! Thanks to ye, Smog will prey on our hearty crew no more! Ye have truly proved yer' salt, and be ready to become a prince by me side!” If only I could have understood him through his Pirate-talk (My Dad still had quite a bit of the sea in him) I'm sure I would have been glowing with pride. “As befits a boy o yer' heritage, I now present to ye a sword that has been in our family fer' generations, passed down to me from me Pa, from his Pa, from HIS Pa, who stole it from some dog in Orfdor. So saying he reached down into his pile of riches and presented to me...

The Wulven Helm!!! Don't be surprised if you haven't heard of it, you've probably just been living under a rock for the past 10,000 years. This sword was crafted by our ancestors, long before Mythron was even established, for the warrior king Wulven Mavulbar. With it in battle, he was literally unstoppable. Foes would be turned to ash, the earth trembled where he walked, and victory was assured. Well, that is until Wulven tried the whole earth-quaking thing in a sea battle. That just resulted in the ship breaking apart. Wulven drowned, and the Wulven Helm was thought to be lost forever... Until now. I just couldn't believe that I, a mere barbarian prince was receiving a sword fit for a... My thought was interrupted by my Dad saying, “Well, the sword be yer's, do with it what ye will!”

And with that, I was crushed by a force heavier than 20 Smogs, or at least that's what it felt like! I hadn't been brought to the ground by awe, No, in true Pirate fashion, Dad had THROWN the Wulven Helm at me. And what the legends I'd read never said about the Wulven Helm was that it was HEAVY. Wulven would have to have been a giant to wield this thing!

As I checked for broken ribs, My Dad's guffawing was cut short by Svenn the Spikey racing into the tent yelling at the top of his lungs “Mythron Soldiers are attacking!!!”

As I trudged outside to join the battle (Remember the sword?) Thoughts raced through my head. Firstly, this was BAD. An attack at this time was terrible, because most of the clan were down in the valleys on a hunting trip! Secondly, the only warriors we had left were terrible! They were the kind of people who would tend the cows, not fight off a highly trained Mythronian squadron! And lastly, What was MYTHRON doing in Enalica?! I thought we had nothing to do with those guys!

However, I quickly perceived we weren't completely devoid of warriors. Svenn the Spikey was putting up a great fight!

And Bull-whip Bulkar was amazing in combat!

It looked like we had victory in our grasp. Then something occurred to me. Where was Dad? At that moment, something cold hit me in the head.

I saw nothing.

When I awoke, I couldn't remember much.

Then I looked around, and it all came flooding back to me. The battle. Wulven Helm. Dad gone. And we had lost. Men dead, Tents torched, treasuries looted. In my still dazed mind, I saw the Mythronians heading up out of the canyon. It looked like they had Dad with them!

I trudged after them.(I hadn't forgotten the Wulven Helm!)

Many days passed. I followed the Mythronians out of the mountains. During that time, I started to learn how to work with the weight of the sword instead of against it! I wasn't ready to turn anyone to ash, but I thought I was doing pretty well. One day, I came to a cliff and leaped off it into a valley...

... And landed gracefully on the ground.

Brushing myself off I realized I had lost the Mythronians. But at least the scenery was beautiful enough to soften the blow!

As I bent to the ground for my sword, I also took in the sounds. The muffled roar of the waterfall, the sweet chirping of a bird, and the unmistakable sound of a Mythronian assassin cocking his cross-bow.

Luckily, I was quick enough to whip around and deflect his arrow right back at him!

I had no time to celebrate my victory though, as I was quickly ambushed by more soldiers!

The battle was intense, thrust and parry, and I was getting pushed further back towards the dead tree.

I suddenly realized what they were trying to do; herd me off the edge of the waterfall!

Never! I thought, and deflected the pike-man's pike into his partner's collarbone.

He lay there, stunned.

His partner, even more so. “Harry! Noooooo!!! In King Sadon's name, I will avenge thee!” I was about to politely point out that he wasn't dead, when the pike-man attacked me with more ferocity than I was ready for.

He had almost driven me off the end, when I saw a weakness in his attack and penetrated it, swiping him right off the tree!

I did not look at what happened next. Rather, I looked toward the rising sun, and recounted my adventures for you. Now, I am meditating on the fact that War never changes. There will always be loss, like missing fathers. Always have dishonorable tactics, like enemies who attack out of the blue a faction they had nothing to do with.

And always have physics decide it's done being defied at the most inopportune moments! If I survive this fall, I will surely continue my adventures!!!!!

Bonus Pic of the Tent!

And the throne. Hope You Liked, And Keep On Building!

Spectacular intro! I like that you have more than one build in the intro. Most people (me included) just put a figure in a scene and wrote the back story. This is much better! Your character looks great, too! His story has a very interesting start, and I can't wait to hear more! Excellent work, and welcome to Enalica!

Firstly, the lead character looks good, clearly a barbarian of some time. The tent build looks rather chaotic, maybe making the floor a single color or color pattern would help with that. Nice way of integrating the Nuju spike into the throne, although it could be a bit more covered around with system bits. Snow-ice section looks great, though.

As others have said, this looks really good. It's a great melding of the Viking and piratical sides to Enalica. Your minifigure looks great, and has a well-thought-out backstory to him. Also, the waterfall looks great, without requiring too many pieces. A thousand welcomes to you!

Yeah, I know the tent looks chaotic, but I was deliberately trying to accomplish that look!

I like the unmistakable Enalican design to the Throne of Doom, but the frozen river is my favorite build. This story looks like it's off to a good start.
