I've gone cycling mad in the last year or so. Unfortunately I'm also greedy for ever-more-expensive road bikes, so to help myself to focus on a long-term savings plan I built myself a money box.
Of course it would have been more practical to build something big and square but I also wanted something that was a bit of fun to build.
There's a slot in the top for making deposits (notes only thanks!):
The back folds down to allow me to see just how far away I am from affording my shiny new De Rosa Super King EPS (incidentally, the tomb inside was initially a lot more impressive, but I had to shrink it down so that it wouldn't block notes from being inserted):

The base is intentionally simple - I started out with a much more ornate base with a bit of landscaping around the back and sides but it actually overwhelmed the building so I stripped it back to the bare essentials. In this case I like it better this way.
