Hi everyone! I'm starting right off the fourth year with some more 10-wide concept cars (although the Monza was 12). I always wanted to build a good Renault (but Loek, your Wind and Master were ok, right?) Yeah, but it was time for a 2014 model. And why not that concept I always loved: the DeZir.
This car was drawn by the Dutch 2014 main Renault designer Laurens van Acker, and I think he did a stunning job. Since a lot of Renaults are now getting this front, I think you could almost call Renault cool in therms of styling.
Some pics, now.
The rear and taillight(s). It has only got one. Notice the shaping, sort of Lamborghini-ish.
Low view. The car is really low. I think it looks cool from this angle, but I'm not sure about the wheels. They are the most accurate and good ones though.
Right then, the doors. The distinctive feature is that the driver's door is a butterfly door in the frontal direction, where as the passenger's door moves in a backways-suicide direction. And notice tat the seats are a slight raised floor, with red accents in it. Fantastic. (BTW, some credits for the door mechanism to Chris Maxter)
Dash-view. The dashboard is floating, the navi system is made into the shape of a raindrop, and the egg-shaped mid tunnel goes into a flowing line, right into the dash, which has beautiful roundings. I really really like this car.
Birds-eye-would be a shame if somebody shat it-view. The rear is also shaped in one flowing line.
