Your rigs are awesome, just one thing try to widen the PUC to two wide between the cab and box and 3 wide towards the bottom.

Quoting Paulo R Indeed, I know KME has had a few mechanical issues in the real world, but none of that matters in bricks. I think the only manufacturers that wont see service the the SCFD are Sutphin, Rosenabuer and Ferrara.
I agree wholeheartedly with that list.

Quoting Paulo R Yeah... hahaha. E-Ones are pretty solid, or at least the Cyclone II is. But when it comes to building lego fire trucks, looks is pretty much the only thing that matters, and KME has got them!
Yep! My department runs Typhoon pumpers and loves 'em. . . But, like you said, looks can make or break (sorry for the pun, I couldn't help myself :P) a MOC. Everything else is secondary.

Quoting Brickcity 101 I always thought you were more of a Seagrave fan, judging by the amount of Seagraves you had. KMEs are very nice though, very dependable and good looking!
Well, I do love Seagraves just as much as KME's. I have a few planned KME's and Seagrave to come. But you will see that I have lots of brands serving my department, including Pierce, HME, KME, Spartan, Seagrave and ALF.

Quoting Paulo R Meh, I think KME's are nicer than Pierce... :P
Nothin' beats E-One, in my 'humble' opinion. :P (P.S. Your love of KMEs is well known, by the way. Just in case you haven't been told that 100 times already, right? ;)

Quoting Brick City Fire Department Hello! I am new here, and I was wondering if you happened to know the part number for the cabinet above the back wheel on the first truck. Also, these trucks are amazing!
Hi there, here is a link for the part on Bricklink http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2873
