The 727 Locomotive was a 12V set released in 1977. It had a pretty good design and I have built a new one with 1980s look to fit with my light gray 12V period layout.
About this creation
The original 727 (1977 released)

My version with 12V motor (light gray period):

Front cabin with ordinary commands

Two powerfull electric motors inside for high speed

This locomotive got a 225.618 km/h speed on my layout (9"05 for best tour)

Some usefull tools take place in each box (two by side).

All aboard!

Two passenger wagons should come later with the same color scheme.

727 number comes from a 7727 cuted sticker and the yellow bar is a personnal sticker creation - not fair, I know...

Excellent build! Question: how did you get the yellow bar in the red train doors? Is it a sticker? or do the doors come from a particular set? Thanks

I am amazed at the detail that goes into your projects. I only wish I had the talent to build, rather than just being a reseller on BrickLink. Thanks for posting the photos of construction like you do.Jim
