Quoting David FNJ My favorite part is probably the middle-front section. Great part choice!
Thanks!

Quoting Tim C Right up my alley with this one, David. As your spaceships go, this ranks right up with my faves. It looks like this one is the brain child of a lot of thought and design. I love the lt grey section in between with those intriguing little greebly details and all the extra little manned stations throughout. Top notch CS goodness, David.
I reckon you could tell there was a touch of Tim C greebling going on here.

Quoting Marc dZ May I propose you something: You build your brain in Lego and duplicate it. And you spread parts everywhere over the planet so we all can profite of your master skills... Deal?!!? !) BTW, this ship is such one piece! Love the SNOT technics.
Build my brains lego, that's a truly scary idea.

Quoting James Dart Definitely inspiring me to look at my Classic Space LEGOs again. Granted, I didn't get much of it, that doesn't stop me from building it!
Always worth a revisit.

Quoting Alex Sonny Wow! Beautiful use of all the CS parts, especially the corner pieces in the cockpit and the canopies in the other two. The general shape is great, I really like long ships with structures that look like they could break any time ;)
For one of my builds it is surprisingly tough.

Quoting Topsy Creatori Qiute a fascinating design! I think I've asked you before, but what are those tetrahedral strut supported pieces called? I 'm going to have to order some! :)
My brothers and I called them honey cones, sure that isn't the formal term.

There's so much you can do with those old cockpits.

Thanks.

Quoting matt rowntRee So much love in that middle section only outdone by that groovy forward cockpit. But I think my favorite part is the bulky grey nacelles, they just ooze CS. Great shape, almost a bridge between the 928 and the Star Fleet Voyager. Awesome!
I had 9268 in my sights when building this - good spot.

Quoting clayton Marchetti Cool Ship! Love the three cockpits , especially the rear two . Awesome visibility. I like all the detailing between the cockpits. I really loving the engine struts and how you mounted them to the hull. The twin tails tops it off nicely.
This was a classic shape to revisit. When I get hold of those extra trans yellow pieces just imagine what I can do :)

That was my aim, as always with the CS builds.

Quoting Stephan N I love the front intermediate piece with the many details. particularly the satellite dishes give a Unique touch here. And the front with the blue corner parts looks very good. A genuine CS pieces ala David Alexander Smith.
Subtle asymmetry throughout, that's my little tip.

Quoting Chris Roach great work using those odd CS pieces for the cockpit. TLG really needs to bring back CS but designed by the fans! Collector's would eat it up.
It's easy money for therm, I just don't feel as a company they really ever look back.

Vintage parts are the best.

Quoting David Roberts I love the centre, grey greebled section and the rear cockpit. The way that the canopies are at 90 is a neat effect, plus they open wide for lots of playability. The grey engine pods are a bit plain to my eyes but I suppose that CS ships were never coated with pipes and grilles.
The pods were deliberately plain, but you might be right. Perhaps if huge mid section wasn't greebled it might have worked better. Doubts?
