Another simple but hopefully recognisable build from me.
About this creation
Had the idea for the front and everything just went from there.

Tail lights are overrated...

The aerodynamic underside.

Quick question - trans clear...

...Or trans light blue?

Thanks for viewing.

Quoting Yann (XY EZ) I was just wondering: what system / technique do you use to "return" the panels like here underneath the car? I had some special Megablocks part who did the job perfectly, but it was kind of cheating ...
Hi Yann, those Megablocks parts sound interesting. There are a lot of ways you can achieve the upside down effects, here I used this style of hinge http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=11&itemID=870

Quoting Oran Cruzen You are very welcome! Oh, I forgot, I think the trans-light blue looks better, only because it shows up better. IMHO Does he have blue eyes? Also, which exact modified plate were you talking about that has studs on top and bottom?
Yeah I went with the light blue in the end. In the movies the lights had a blueish tinge, rather than the yellow he originally had. The old style hinges, seen here: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=11&itemID=870

Quoting E T Sorry SSSW...is it possible to get some more info about your technique of underside face? It's so clever to use but I don't physically understand how you do it !!! Thanks upfront buddy
No problem ET! There are lots of techniques you can use for the same effect, but the one I've used here is probably the simplest and most commonly used. Using the old style hinges (https://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=11&itemID=869) with studs on one side facing one way and the opposite on the other, you can attach bricks on either side, creating the slick underside. Hope you know what I mean, but if not, just ask!

That is the coolest 4-wide Daytona I've ever seen! Love the front end. Brilliant. I like the trans blue eyes but what if you use 1 jumper in the middle and two 1x1 yellow tiles on ether side then there would be no yellow stud showing inside the eyes turning it green. What do you think?

Quoting Disco Chicken It's nice that you made the underside smooth tiles, but you don't really need it because the main focus of the the care is the front, side and back profiles. Also realistically on a real car underneath the car is just pipes, tubes, greebling etc. Just a tip btw.I'm not trying to tell you what to do.
The smooth underside is a result of the shaping on the front end, which couldn't have otherwise been achieved. I have a few other cars with underside detailing, maybe you'd prefer them. Haha it's no problem, thanks!
