Matoran of Racta Major
Hey, the little guys matter too! This is six of the many Matoran who would be wandering around Racta Major, the main city of Racta Magna.
About this creation
Koi:
Koi is one of the many Ta-Matoran that live in Racta Major, who is somewhat known for his skills at Kolhii. Koi in nature is very protective of his friends, and usually very eager to help. However, Koi is also very reckless and clumsy in all fields except Kolhii, where he is surprisingly smooth and gracious.

Koi was definitely considered the runt of the pack when he was younger. Very fragile and always getting himself into trouble, he was at the butt of most jokes and pranks. At one point, he tried to apply for the Matoran guard led by Jatil, but was rejected, due to his negative reputation. This changed when he discovered his skills at Kolhii, and joined the Ta-Matoran Kolhii team, being by far the best player of every match. At one point, when a Toa named Raznor took over Racta Major, Koi, along with a Le-Matoran named Dorru, aided Turaga Trokan and Toa Benu free the city.

At one point, he was kidnapped and held hostage by Doctor Forgen, but was released. Koi was also nearly killed by the IRM, but was saved by Toa Cilla. Much later, he encountered the Dark Hunter Slave Driver, who hoped to use him to bait the Torm. Koi was rescued by Kuvago the Devastator, who faced off against Slave Driver singlehandedly.

Life continued for Koi, who helped the Turaga with various jobs over the years. However, one day his life was turned upside down when two old villains, Shadonax and Aroxion, were resurrected. They stormed the city of Racta Major and established themselves as the new rulers; the Matoran were locked away with Clank, an ally of the Toa whom tried to lift everyone’s spirits, despite the hopeless situation they were in. The Matoran are currently still incarcerated.

Front! Love this guy, the colour, the mask, everything. I feel that the build does him justice too.

Back.

Wah, Wah, Waah.

Farok:
Farok is one of the many Ko-Matoran that live in Racta Major. Farok, a rather young Matoran, currently does not have an occupation, though he wishes to become a Toa and protect Racta Magna. Farok is generally friendly and happy, but simultaneously is rather cowardly.

Farok, still rather early in his life, has not done many things of note. At one point, he joined the Ko-Matoran Kolhii team, but left rather quickly due to his fear of being hurt. He established a friendship with Tahui, despite Tahui being rather embarrassed by him. At one point, he was kidnapped and held hostage by Doctor Forgen, but was released. Farok was also nearly killed by the IRM, but was saved by Toa Cilla. Soon afterwards, He saw Makuta Reshak and his children entering the city. He was about to cry out, but was silenced by his Kanohi Shelek; the spell eventually wore off.

Farok continued to live his life from then on, attempting to find work whenever he could. All this changed however when two old villains were resurrected, Shadonax and Aroxion. They quickly conquered the city and locked all the Matoran in a cell. They were locked in with Clank, an ally of the Toa who tried to remain upbeat despite the dire circumstances. The Matoran remain incarcerated.

Front. Kinda simplistic, but I wanted him to look young.

The back.

Hula:
Hula is one of the many Ga-Matoran that lives in Racta Major. She also heads the Racta Major bathing centres. Hula is mature and responsible, who handles her business in a capable, but sometimes mechanical way. While generally stone faced and very serious, she does enjoy the company of her light hearted friends, and is still a very sociable person.

Hula inherited her business at a very young age, and had been raised to capably manage it. She did not spend too much time outside, but enough to become good friends with Koi, Farok, Grokk, Tahui and Korduu. After many years of managing the baths, Hula discovered that something was killing her clients in the water. With the help of Toa Galika, she discovered that the Villain Jawblade was hiding in the pool. Jawblade attacked Hula with several nasty blows to the neck, which should have killed her. However, several operations allowed her to resume her normal life.

At one point, she was kidnapped and held hostage by Doctor Forgen, but was released. Hula was also nearly killed by the IRM, but was saved by Toa Cilla. She continued her regular business in this time, though found that the business she was getting with her baths was slowly waning. She ran several baths for Toa Raxonax, helping him to relax his mind in order to face his mental battles with Shadonax. She became very happy whenever she saw the Toa of Gravity at the door, as it always resulted in a flurry of business.

Sometime later, two very old villains, Shadonax and Aroxion, were resurrected; they promptly subjugated the city, imprisoning Hula and the other Matoran in a cell in Racta Major. They were locked in with Clank, an old ally of the Toa, who tried to remain positive, despite the dampened spirits of the Matoran. They currently remain incarcerated.

Front. Funny, I actually killed this character off in Hunt for "God" #26 (The issue with Jawblade), but I liked her so much that I brought her back. How is she still alive? Operations. Lazy writing? JUST GO WITH IT, DANGIT!

The Back.

Heh, I believe that this is the first time since Thanatos that Metru Man has appeared in a post and hasn't been maimed or killed.

Grokk:
Grokk is one of the many Po-Matoran living in Racta Major. Because of his great strength and determination, he works in construction, following the Po-Matoran tradition of being talented architects. Although Grokk is not of the highest intelligence, his heart is in the right place, as he cares very much for his friends, even someone as mean spirited as Tahui.

Grokk originally lived on Spherus Magna, along with another Po-Matoran named Potu. However, after the two tried to steal the Kanohi Ignika as part of a prank, a dormant Mata Nui transformed Grokk into a living Segway, and the two of them were forced to partake in community service. Grokk was reverted to a Matoran after this was completed. Soon afterwards, traumatised by his experience as a vehicle, Grokk migrated to Racta Magna to live a new life. He got a job as an architect and met his new group of friends.

At one point, he was kidnapped and held hostage by Doctor Forgen, but was released. Grokk was also nearly killed by the IRM, but was saved by Toa Cilla. Grokk snuck out with Ohyk during the battle in Racta Major with Reshak to see the action, and was pressured by the Ta-Matoran to help him don the Exotoran armour and become Doctor Forgen again.

Time passed, and Grokk continued with his life. One day, however, the city was besieged by two old villains, Shadonax and Makuta Aroxion; Grokk, along with the other Matoran, was incarcerated in a cell with Clank, an ally of the Toa of Racta Major. Hope dwindled quickly, despite Clank’s best efforts to incite optimism. Grokk currently remains in his cell.

Here we go! This is probably the silliest backstory for a Bionicle ever. If it is not, I would like to shake the hand of the writer of the story that's sillier.

The back. Though a Po-Matoran, Grokk is more like a Onu-Matoran in physique. I'm kinda happy with how it turned out, hope you guys are too!

Obviously, in this situation, Dread probably wouldn't shrug to the camera quirkily, and instead demolish the poor Matoran. However, I haven't got the guts to kill off this character.

Tahui
Tahui is one of the many Onu-Matoran living in Racta Major. Tahui works in the vault of Racta Major as an archivist. Tahui is rather pompous, believing himself to be superior to most Matoran around him. Though he does not wish to be with them, he is constantly dragged out of his home to be with his "friends", who he very much resents.

Tahui was raised and spoiled by a rich family, and sent to a very high class school. He spent much of his early life out of touch with the rest of the world. It was for this reason that when he had to work as a caterer for a short period of time, that he despised the common folk around him. It was here that he met the friends he has now. He became an archivist in the hopes of getting away from these people, but this was to no avail. At one point, he was kidnapped and held hostage by Doctor Forgen, but was released. Sometime later, Tahui was attacked and nearly killed by the IRM, who had been smuggled into the city. Fortunately, he was saved by Solorak.

From that point on, Tahui’s life yielded little excitement, that is until the city was conquered by Shadonax and Makuta Aroxion. Tahui, like the other Matoran, was locked in a cell with Clank, the eccentric ally of the Toa. Tahui remained cynical, despite Clank’s attempts at optimism. Tahui remains in his cell currently.

Here he is!

The back.

Korduu:
Korduu is one of the many Le-Matoran living in Racta Magna. Korduu works as a mechanic, mending vehicles and other machines that may have broken down. Though very old, Korduu lacks intelligence, and is very gullible. This being said, he is very light hearted and very playful, though his naivety can irritate people.

Korduu lived a very simple life, working since a very young age, and not receiving a full education. He set up the store in his first years of adulthood, and met his friends at this point. At one point, he was kidnapped and held hostage by Doctor Forgen, but was released. Korduu was also nearly killed by the IRM, but was saved by Toa Cilla. After the conflicts with Makuta Reshak had ended, Korduu expanded his area of expertise from weapons and vehicles to armour upgrades. At a result of these new expansions, he provided services to Toa Cilla, Toa Dorru and Toa Raxonax.

Korduu continued to work undisturbed in his repair shop, until two very old villains, Shadonax and Makuta Aroxion, were resurrected and conquered the city. Korduu, along with the other Matoran, were locked away in a cell with Clank, an eccentric robot who had allied with the Toa. They currently remain in imprisonment.

Here he is!

Folks, this is how to loose respect from the Bionicle community within an astonishingly small amount of time.

The group all together.

Yeah, I wonder who...?

...ooooooh...!

WAIT!

Where you going?

I would appreaciate if you watched the video and told me what you think...

Thanks! :D

That's all folks!

I quite like these little guys. I think that Koi is well designed honestly and I find the torso looks good on him. Grokk's physique really fits his story and name. Keep up the good work buddy!

Quoting L.A. Miranda Koi's body is too blocky, in my opinion, and I feel like those Mata hands as leg armor doesn't work quite well. Still, I kinda like it, and the rest of the Matoran are quite cool <3 I really like how did you make them so different, yet the same size and style. My favourite would be Farok, because of him being the most simple, yet poseable desing, and still looks really nice without any armor! Grokk and Tahui would be next, nice use of those orange wheels/blades and the small disks with cross holes (don't know its name ^^) for thar armor designs! Hula... I wonder, why not a Bo-Matoran with such color scheme? And finally... Well, I don't have anything to say of Korduu, but I like him =P Wonderful work with those ones, dear! <3
Thanks for the advice on Koi, I might actually revamp him, not a lot of people seem too impressed with him. Glad you like Grokk and Tahui, the disks with cross holes (the ones on Tahui, right) I think are called "technic half bushings" (don't quote me on that though, I haven't researched or anything) heh, The reason Hula's not a Bo-Matoran is because I didn't know that was their colour scheme (I don't know something about Bionicle; shoot me :p) but the excuse I'm going with is that Hula's a woman, when the Bo Species is apparently exclusively male. Thanks for the comment! :D

Quoting Stormjay Exserion Random thoughts: Koi (why is he named after a fish?): Real skinny, weird looking system bits. Not my favorite. Just make him a Takua clone. Farok I like, despite the simplicity. Hula (why the name) has weird hair that should at least be a different color. Colors sorta work out though. Grokk looks like he should have a gear function and/or be a Rebuilt Matoran revamp. The other two I have no real thoughts about.
In the same format: Koi: funny thing with the name: I named him before I found out about the fish (I think I wanted to do a spin on Kai, the name) and when I found out about the fish, I thought I'd keep it anyway, because it sounded kinda cute. Those system parts are only as the chest plate, and I kinda did the skinny thing deliberately, to show that he's not really that strong but that he would be light on his feet. Farok: Glad you like. Hula: this character actually has been posted before, and I think it was at the time when I was running out of ideas for names. Yeah, the hair kind of gets in the way sometimes; if you have any suggestions for the colour and maybe some of the design, then I'd like to hear. Grokk: Interesting; I probably won't do it, as I'm not really wild about gear functions, but yeah, interesting you make the comparison to the 2003 rebuilt Matoran. Thanks for the comment, Stormjay!
