Something I made and posted on flickr, but will also post here for those who don't follow me there (and also because of the upcoming WW2 vehicle contest)
About this creation
The KV-13 (Object 233) was an experimental Soviet medium tank created during World War II. It was developed on the KV-1 chassis in the SKB-2 design bureau of the Chelyabinsk Kirov Plant in late 1941 — early 1942, as a "universal" tank, intended to replace the production of T-34 medium tanks and KV heavy tanks at the same time.
The first prototype of the KV-13 was made in the spring of 1942, but in the fall of that year its tests showed its lack of mechanical reliability and the need to strengthen the armour and the need to equip with the new three-seat turret. While in December 1942 began production of two modified prototypes in design which takes into account these requirements, work on the KV-13 as a medium tank was discontinued in favor of continuing the T-34 manufacturing. The further development of the project using two modified KV-13 prototypes led to the creation in 1943 of the IS-1 heavy tank.
Just like that, my KV-13 will also lead to the creation of the IS (in the works right now!). I just wanted to post this here quickly since Jerry Temple's contest is coming up and I want to finish my IS in time (or maybe something entirely different, who knows?)
Anyway, I didn't make too many renders of this thing, here are the comparison shots with the real life photos I found on the internet.
And just because the first shot doesn't do this tank justice, here's the main render again, just for you
And as always, the LDD file is available down below. Thanks for checking this out, sorry if I'm in a hurry but I am.

Wow, those side by side comparisons are something else! Very accurate! I think you'll do just fine in this contest. Also, does a minifig crew operate this tank?
No, it's a bit bigger than minifigure size. If anyone remembers those Jack Stone figures, it's about that scale.
