Oh yeah, forgot about this guy? Well now he's back to remind you! This is the newly revived Doctor Forgen, and his newest of impractical creations, the Exotoran!
About this creation
V1

Ohyk (Doctor Forgen)
Ohyk, or as he would call himself, "Doctor Forgen", is one of the many Ta-Matoran living in Racta Major; an inventer/mechanic, although he has no official job. He is flamboyant and dramatic, and also very egotistical. Whilst trying to appear very hostile and nasty, most are amused by his hamminess.

Ohyk spent his time tinkering at a very young age, and by the time he reached young adulthood, he had perfected many automated contraptions. His friends praised him as a great creator, and suggested that he pursued a career in it. Ohyk treated this praise with humbleness at first, but soon enough, he started to believe in it.

He created the pen name "Doctor Forgen" (He does not have a Doctorate, he just thought the title "Doctor" sounded cool) and he set about publicising his creations. However, Forgen soon became fustrated that he was not being recognised or appreciated, and started to develop a suit for himself, so that he would eventually become the city's hero, and replace the Toa.

After the first draft of this, the Exo-Box, failed to become a reality, Forgen realised that five of his ignored inventions could be combined to create the Exotoran. After being put down by his comrades once too many, he put on the Exotoran and, after defeating Krode, Solorak and Clank, took the entire city as hostage. Raxonax, Galia and Montu responded and battled him. Because they underestimated him, Forgen temporarily gained the advantage and almost killed Galia. Raxonax intervened by tearing Forgen out of the Exotoran and knocking him down.

Forgen was charged with community service, which he is currently carrying out in Racta Major.

Here is Ohyk, or Doctor Forgen, himself. Sorry for the low-light conditions people, realistically I probably should've reshot this, but I liked these photos quite a bit. Most of the details can be made out, though.

The back.

Yeah, when you think Wertman 8 villains, you won't think Shadonax, Aroxion, Thanatos, or even the IRM; you'll think Doc Forgen!

The first of the components that make up the Exotoran; These special boots were designed by Forgen for use in hazardous conditions; for example, walking in a burning building, or on a floor filled with Acid, or something along those lines.

They were rejected as they were too clunky for any emergancy use, and that the extra height was impractical for Toa sized (or bigger) beings. Forgen incorparated them into his Exotoran as it gave him the extra height he needed, and also helped put more force in a kick.

NOTE: This does not reflect my views on short or fat people. Both can be awesome. This is just Doctor Forgen being a jerk.

The second coponant of the Exotoran was this cannon, which fired liquid tranquilisers. This was rejected by clients, because the gun's discharge was difficult to control, and also, it would easily become overheated and stop working. Forgen replaced the tranquilisers with harmful toxins before applying it to the Exotoran.

I guess I better bring this up; No, I don't collect Megablocks Halo. I'm not even a Halo fan; I've never played the game, though it does look kinda good. I just got a Banshee set as a present at some point, and I gotta say, it's really cool. Megablocks has really come a long way with some nice looking stuff, as oppose to the rubbish they'd turn out when I was like 6 or 7.

The third thing that Doctor Forgen applied to the Exotoran was this grappling arm, which he marketed as being applied for safe handling of dangerous substances and reaching places where normal arms could not reach. While this product had no technical flaws, it was rejected, because a similar product already existed, and was sold for a much cheaper price. Forgen applied it to the Exotoran for easily grappling, and also a means to lift heavy objects.

Heh, cross referencing to my Youtube videos FTW :P

The last, and biggest componant of the Exotoran was this protective armouring. The point of this was to protect clients from any physical abuse to the chest, and also to intimidate enemies with it's sheer bulk. This was supposed to be the first of a series of armour pieces, but the plan were later cancelled.

The armour piece was rejected for two reasons; It was too heavy and clunky for practical use, and also that the material was not strong enough to hold up against heavy abuse. Although it was designed to fit around people bigger than himself, Forgen used it in the Exotoran for the physical bulk and protection.

Yeah, it is a little too small for a Matoran, really.

Alright, here we go! This is actually what the Exotoran looks like! Tried to go silly and serious at the same time, but unfortunately, it doesn't quite have the goofyness of the Exo-Box. Oh well, this looks better.

Sorry, it's not posed too great, but here is what he looks like from the back.

Again, sorry for the bad lighting, the video below has better lighting, and also, a better view of the Exotoran itself.

UPDATE 3/8/2014

Just a coupla' quickies; I changed out Forgen's hip armour, because that seemed to get quite a negative reception, and I also shortened the grappling arm, because y'know, you could see that it was too long from the photos. I was thinking of extending the legs like suggested, and I am going to do that, but just at a later date.

This is how the Exotoran looks now.

That's all, folks!

Quoting L.A. Miranda HE'S BAAAAACK!!! Really loved the Exo-Box, was a cool concept for a Matoran mech. You disassembled it, right...? ToT Well, at least this new MOC is AWESOME. I love it too <3 The two only things I don't like too much about this MOC is the grappling arm (actually it's quite cool, but as part of the Exotoran it looks too long... You should try to make it extendable) and the leg armor of Forgen. Sorry, but I don't think that those hand pieces work well as armor in sets of that size. =/ Aside of those small details, this thing is amazing. Love it so much, that I wish I had build it. The chest, the shoulders, the bulky legs... So cool, dear. And the animation was quite funny! Magnificent work, dear. Along with the Jankori and Thanatos, this is my favourite MOC from you! =D
Thanks L.A.! Yeah, I'm afraid I did disassemble it, sorreh :p A retractable arm, eh? That does sound pretty cool, I might have a go at that. Hrm, I will change that leg armour, but I'll have to see what I could replace it with. Thanks again friend! :D

Quoting Toa Chains Forgen returns! Wasn't expecting that! It's really really cool! Firstly I'll go over the matoran. I like him! He is simplistic, but very effective! One thing I think you could improve is that he looks kinda gappy from the side, around his neck. I also like how his colour scheme makes him pop from the rest of the build. Now with the mech...I don't really like it...I LOVE it! (I know, a bit of a cliché thing to say :P) The colour scheme (Although used a lot) is really good! I like the torso of the mech! It's quite cool! I think the legs are a bit to small though. Another problem is that, although it was a nice concept, the story that all the pieces are parts of failed/unpopular designs made by Dr. Forgen is kinda far-fetched. I don't think that the things like the chest armor would be something someone would make for matoran use on their own, if that makes any sense. Other than those small things though, this is a really cool moc! :D
Glad you like, Chains! Yeah, the design is kinda simplistic for Forgen, which corresponds with the other Matoran, though I may do something about that neck. Glad you like the look. Yeah, the legs were originally designed to be a little longer, but I thought it didn't look too good, so those versions are particularly short. I can understand some of the backstory issues, but I do actually say the torso armour was originally designed to fit around a bigger body. :p Anyway, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated :D
