This is my newest creation based on my five wide pickup base. A 2012 GMC 3500 Sierra HD Dually with long bed and crew cab. It's a customized Denali version. The model features some nice details like the dark tinted rear lights, the front bar with winch and led lights used as intersection lights for stormchasing purposes, additional roof lights, a detailed drive train and chrome parts on the grill and rear bumper and it has a truck bed cover which is removable. I hope you like this new truck. I really like this black dually version because it looks really ba**ss ;) Thanks for watching, rating and commenting.
About this creation
Added some orange and chromed stickers behind the front lights to get the GMC look.
The rear with the dark tinted rear lights and the chrome bumper.
A view from above, there you can see the additional roof lights.
The looooong truckbed with removed truck bed cover.
And here you can see the drivetrain. It's not an exact replication of the original but i think it looks good so far :)
Hi Sven, well that's my Landy completed and uploaded on MOC Pages, I have been sure to mention you in the description and have also linked to your page as well. Also I didn't see until now the use of minifig hands on the front bumper of your GMC, it's ingenious and looks amazing, very good parts usage. David :)
Hi Sven, excellent work, it looks amazing and so realistic, I love all of the details you have included in this creation 10/10. I especially love the drive-train design, do you mind if I use in my upcoming MOC, a Land Rover Discovery 4, I will include full credit of course! Keep up the good work Sven! :)
Lol, no problem Sam. I really like your idea whether classic or modern version ;) Like i said, it's on my to-do list and i'll try it out when i finished my other projects. But could possible that i work on it from time to time :) Hope i'm able to build a nice five wide lego version.
Hey Sam my friend, thank you again for your great compliment. Do you mean the famous "Eleanor"? And is this an order from you or a suggestion/idea only? It's quite a nice idea but don't have any experience with this kind of classic vehicles. Because it could really a challenge for me, i'll put it onto my "to-do" list. At the moment i'm very busy with other Lego projects. Greets, Sven
Hey Sven! As your doing quite a few citizen cars at the mo, may I request a 5-wide Shelby GT500? I say 5-wide as it isn't much thinner than the VW Amarok which is also 5-wide, so I thought it would work quite well. What do you think?
Thank you so much for your great comment my friend!
Oran my very good friend. Thank you, thank you and thank you so much!! Did i say thank you? LOL. I really appreciate your very kind comment and compliment! Thanks again my friend, it's always a pleasure to read from you :) :)
Jimmie my friend, i'm fine so far and i hope that you are well too. Thank you so much for your really kind comment and your wishes. I always appreciate your kind words you leave on my creations. Stay safe too!
Question, How do you tell the difference between a Lego model and the real thing? Answer, The Lego model will look better If Team Sven built it.10/10 Nuff said. Stay safe my friend And hope that you are well. Greets.
