About this creation
Quite a few of you guys have already seen this, but I guess it belongs here, too. 6w+, fits one whole minifig. Sorry, no gadgets.

I guess I must be busy lately, because somehow this amazing build slipped below my radar, until now. This is a superb effort. I have seen DB5s built at a much larger scale that didn't capture the shape as well as you have at this 6-wide scale. Everything, from the grille to taillights, looks just right.

Very well deserved pal! :)

Was nicht geht, geht halt net. :)

Thanks all for your nice comments. My first post still being moderated I'll continue with the comments I haven't answered so far. Sorry for the inconvenience! @Gabor P: Thanks a lot! The model is based on that idea, I didn't intend to build a DB5 in the first place. @Jim: Thanks. I didn't really try an ejector seat, I must admit. There were some more basic issues to solve ... ;-) @Mihe: Thanks a lot. Can't take credit for the bumper's ends, though - must have seen it somewhere else. @Gabor H: Thanks pal, glad you like it! @Stephen: Thanks a lot! @Sven: Thanks buddy, glad you like the DB5! I won't upload every MOC here - 'pages are far from working well (though better than last year), and often my models are rather WIPs than MOCs. Which is the case with the pony, too. @Ben: Thank you very much! @Topsy: Glad you like it Topsy! :) @Yann: Thank you very much!

Tiles are attached (hinge bricks involved), the model is 100% Lego as usual. @Jake: Thank you very much! @Mark: Glad you like it! @Amarone: Glad you like it that much! @DD: Thank you very much! Usually I don't get any English pun, but this one seems to be an exception ... ;-) @Lucky: Thanks a lot! @Benaiah: Glad you like it! @SSSW: Thank you very much! @adam: Thank you! @cyberfrank: Thanks a lot Frank. A real gentleman´s car! Wounderful!
  August 30, 2014
Ok, I already rated and commented, but having looked at this for the 7th time now, I have a couple of questions. Firstly, what's the part making the front bumper? I can see the 1x1 plates with clip, and the minifig hands, but what's the slightly curved part along the front? Secondly, those two 1x6 tiles on the hood - are they attached? or just sitting there with some blu-tack under them? If they're attached then I'm even more impressed...
