Palm Tree Isle
About this creation
Like my last post, this is a build that has been torn down for quite some time.
I had originally built this for the MA, but I missed the deadline by a few bittersweet minutes. (or maybe is was half an hour...) I finished it quite awhile ago, aand only took the pictures so I could tear it down. Anyways. Enjoy!

Oh, and there's no story so you get to see my hilarious personality in the form of captioning photos! :D ...Ahem...

Full build. The rock-work on the bottom is laughable, but it's a bit better up top. (Notice I said a bit. :P)

A group of Royal Navy-men row towards the pirate-infested rock.

The main beach.

This door leads to the Tavern.

Which can be revealed,

By removing the rocks!

Interior, with stools and tankards of Port and Rum.

My awesome stool design. ^_^

Minus figures...

Up top.

An ex-soldier doesn't look too happy about the new visitors.

Path that leads further into the mountain.

I was really fond of this arch. :)

Plate-work and a studly top.

The only Palm tree on the island, which is where it got it's name. (Palm Tree Isle :P)

Some ground layering.

Other side.

Grass landscaping... Aren't you glued to the screen? *sarcasm*

Hey another door! Does this wall lift up too? 0.o

Well, the door opens surely it has to-

Wait why are we looking at the (TOHTAHLLY EPIHC) Skull? I want to see inside!!!

Oh. *Blush*

Interior.

A Captain with two women.

Two ship wheel chandeliers! :D Design (sort of) from Timothy.

Cozy fire.

Water depth in all its tropical goodness.

Seems a skirmish is happening round the bend.

A dwarf pirate doesn't seem to want this orcs grimy fingers on his rare gems, does he?

But lets take a look inside this cave. It looks a bit more intriguing.

Dwarfies accomplice looks to be too interested in the treasure hoard(horde?) than the safety of his friend.

And there's a light brick! :D

Another small cutaway.

This guy looks like he'll be joining his friends soon. *takes off hat*

But best not wallow in our grief;

THERE BE JEWELS IN THEM ISLANDS! :D

A deserters farewell.

Hope You Enjoyed! Thanks For Looking!
Soli Deo Gloria!
-David .

Quoting Isaiah Marc The creation is fantastic! I really like the words that you used to describe your creation you made it very simple and interesting. This creation is very similar to another one I saw earlier that you made. So much to see and do as well lots of doors and spots to play in, great rock work and photography. I thought that it would have been cool to add something to the top of the rock island, maybe a fort, hut, jungle, etc. Great work on all of your mocs. This doesn't refer to this build but another one, you never did Finnish your wip bat cave, how did it turn out? You probably don't want to hear me blab on about your build and other builds so I will let you get back to your incredible builds. Great job.
Thank you! As for the batCave WIP, what you see posted is the furthest that project ever went, sadly. It used up most of my useful pieces, (at the time) and was really limiting what else I could build. I may rebuild it sometime in the future, but for now I have a lot of projects to finish. (including a two year old house and a sort of a collaboration with a couple friends) Perhaps I should get onto some stuff in my mind. Rainy days are the best building ones!

I love the concept and shape of this big, fun build. The door in the cliff is great fun and the removable chunks of cliff reveal all sorts of piratical fun. Great playability and solidly built too.
