About this creation
LIU Camp Deployment Vehicle

The Lugonian Industrial Union is proud to continue its line of logistical war machines. Too often, this field is overlooked. What good is a bunch of troops and tanks if you don't have the food/fuel and ammo to re-supply them? The LIU's newest product, the Camp Deployment Vehicle (CDV), answers this problem.

The CDV was not only designed to carry materials into battle, but was also designed to carry pre-fabricated housing and storage pods.

These pods are dropped off at your base camp and serve as temporary housing for your soldiers or supply depots.

The CDV gets around on ten all terrain wheels.

Advanced communication systems insure the CDV is dropping off your pods or soldiers at the right place.

They tuck away when not in use.

Here's the CDV's infared windscreen.

This CDV is loaded with soldiers. They ride to the scene, disengage the pod, and use the pod as housing.

Or, load the CDV with supplies or ammo. The CDV can drop these pods off ahead of your troops so they can re-supply upon their arrival.

Currently, two types of pods have been designed for the CDV. The larger size is pictured above. The smaller size is shown here.

The CDV can carry two of the smaller pods although we only photographed it with one...(darn photographers). Most soldiers prefer the smaller pods since they are easier to camouflage.

Here, the CDV starts to disengage the small pod.

The CDV backs away, leaving the pod at the location.

Here's the CDV without a pod. It can return to get another pod or return to base to await pick-up orders. You decide.

The pilot and his controls. Not too much to brag about here, just the standard stuff.

Action Shots!

The LIU special operations team (the Black Eyes) uses the Camp Deployment Vehicle to move into position. They don't have to worry about setting up camp. They run into battle while the CDV does the work. An LIU Aeolos and a LIU Pygmy Mech accompany them.

The special ops are here to end a labor strike. Its funny how the workers seem to lose interest in their raises when the Black Eyes arrive. "Who's the leader of this strike!?!"

Note: The LIU hopes to develop a greater variety of pods at a later date. For instance, communication pods, officer pods, weapon pods, and heck maybe even a pizza pod. Who knows....

I think you should do a transformer-style mobile base (or Command & Conquer style-if you've played it).

I was just about to say that this looks like a Lee Jones creation, what with the color scheme and shape. Is the bulky black/trans-red color scheme a new craze or faction that I'm unaware of? If so, I'm going to have to join in. Anyway, awesome creation, of course! Wicked.

That's a neat idea. I like the studlessness. I've been having a hard time using those wheels, but they look good here.

Nice! We'll take 500 to start off with. We may order more later, since we have been threatened by a so far, un-identified enemy. So we have decided to become, not an empire, but more of a government-like organization, rather than a mere "Bounty Hunter Distrubution Center". We are also keeping the name BHDC, and we are keeping the Bounty Hunter Distrubution Center running, also. ~ BHDC President, Chris Trosclair

Good idea and well executed, although the flat black doesn't really do it for me. Don't know about the others, but this is quite good.

Another neat idea, but I'd like to see more interior details of the habitat pod -- some bunks and maybe a mini-kitchen, that sort of thing.

Dear LIU, we are sorry for not placing an order sheet for our last two development. We are sorry for saying this, but we would not like any of those VTOL thingies or that mech walker. We are very sorry but we already have enough and plus, we cannot order any because we are being invaded. Although, we can make room for this. The Faron Forward Division: 101st, is a special airborne/spec ops/ night ops/ force. This inovvative machinme will enhance tactical combat. We would like 1,000. Please take the Omega Route, not the usual Combine route. We will send an escort to bring these precious.
