Church suitable for minifigures, inspired by the classic church set #309-2. With building instructions.
About this creation
This set was an advent calendar present for my son in 2007. There were some bricks for each day in the calendar. On christmas day, it was completed. I designed the building from sketches and ordered the bricks from 'Pick a brick'. The church has many details inside (see the following images).
One wall can be folded down to attend the service.
The roof of the tower can be lifted off. There is room for a minifigure to look out of the tower windows.
I didn't have the LEGOŽ Designer that time so I sketched the building instructions with the drawing function of a word processor. It's rather hard to draw it that way, but you are free to add some more building hints.
First the nave of the curch will be assembled:
The other wall that can be folded down:
The interior detail things (the altar, candles, benches, ladder for the tower). See on the photo how to arrange them:
Nice clean build, the front wall on hinges is a cool idea, greatly increases playability. To make up the instructions in a Word Processor... That must have taken some serious dedication, hats off to you!
