TAC 200 - Assault Walker
Small but heavy on the firepower....
About this creation
The background story: The year is 2089, after mankind learned to live in peace, they learned they were not alone in the universe. Some alien races would become powerful allies, but some would become new threats. And so the greatest technological minds would unite... to save us all: MECH FACTORY........A theme of MOCs by Boyzwiththemosttoyz.

The brick story: Another installment to my Mech Factory theme, This time its the TAC 200 Assault Walker, made of system, Hero Factory and Bionicle Bits. The TAC 200 is used by the NCS Marines as an Assault Mecha! This one man fighting machine is sturdy and heavy on the firepower. Pulse cannons are mounted on each arm, and a dual multi-angle missile pods adorn the top rear of the unit behind the cockpit. Shorter than its TAC 100 counterparts it makes up for it in firepower and armour. Another creation to combat the (perceived) alien threat.

I saw the windshield on some small HF set in Toys r Us it also had the feet I used for this MOC and I was inspired. Rarely does a set today inspire me, but I could visualize its use in one of my mechs.
Quoting Kermunklin the Giant Evil House Head That is one pretty sweet mech. I'm not familiar with the windscreen type, but it sure looks great on your devastating creation.

Quoting M<0><0>DSWIM ! While I'm not a big fan of Bionicle-parts builds, this is pretty nice! I like the Battletech/Robotech vibe of this.

Thx, This, along with his friends old and new will be likely part of a display for next years Brickfete! At least that's what I am envisioning for now!
Quoting Clever Crowe Dude! Another excellently-balanced Blend! Man, you are killing me with these great MechMOCs... I really shouldn't try. I really shouldn't... but making me see your work reeeally makes me want to. I keep looking at pieces from Christmas '13 I didn't expect to pick up (System, a Target sale or two, etc. unusual stuff I thought either I or my daughter could use), and wondering how it'd all come together. MOCpages is LOADED with Epic-level MechMOC'ery, and facing all of YOUR and their Catalog is frankly intimidating. FlickR, too, for that matter. Anyways, sweet, compact and ruff-n-tuff little Frame, man! =D

Not a big fan of strictly Bionicle MOCs there are very few people (ex. Clever Crowe) on the pages who can produce exceptional MOCs using just Bionicle IMO. I have a huge box of it so a few pieces creep in here and there! Sometimes more than a few. :)
Quoting Paddy Bricksplitter Looks real good. Very stable with a large range of movement. I thought you didn't like Bionicle parts ;) Must be warming to the idea eh? I must say I just got my first Hero factory set and will prob be using the parts in future builds. The are kinda cool.

Quoting El Barto ! Nifty! Did you consider adding system pieces over some of those bionicle parts? Like around the arms?
