Defending the Mine
Something I built at the start of the MOCOlympics in case there weren't enough entries. Luckily, we had just enough.
About this creation
Defending the mine - the Olive Cheese mine! The city of Arca, led by its Triumvirate (IMP), recently discovered a cave filled with olive cheese, cheese just waiting to be claimed. However, the king of Skara Kikos had also heard about this cave. He sent his troops to bring back the precious wedges, but when they arrived, they found that the knights of Arca and fortified and the entrance and planned to defend it at all costs. In the ensuing conflict, both parties failed to realize that the cheese had already been claimed long ago and that its guardian was not very pleased....

Hey everyone,

This was build for the "Does this smell funny" category for the MOCOlympics. Who said us judges couldn't build anything? ;)

You should be able to identify the four builders in the story fairly easily....

Enjoy!

Cheese!!!

Some unedited pics:

The commander of the Arcian knights and a couple miners.

There you have it. I had a lot of fun coming up with this idea and building it.

Comments and criticism are appreciated, as always.

Thanks a lot for viewing and have a great day!

~Mark

Quoting Kermunklin the Giant Evil House Head Wow, that is a great MOC. I like the weird, Seusian trees you have and the stingers(?) coming up out of the sand(?). Pretty awesome, although I don't understand what the big deal is about the olive cheese. It tastes just like all the other colors to me.
Haha! It's more rare, that's all. ;) Thanks! Actually, they are the tentacles of Kraken protruding from a lake.
