Bipotron
I'm back again with another HF MOC; the final member of Dread's gang: the hulking Bipotron, one villain you don't wanna cross!
About this creation
“How am I to respect a creature that cannot respect the ground on which it stands?”
-Bipotron, the Contenders #21

Bipotron:
Bipotron, short for Bipolar Electronics, was a rebellious A.I who became an eco-terrorist, a founder of the Platonic Justice and general enemy of the Hero Factory. He wielded two cannons, one that fired intense blasts of hot air and the other cold air, which he used to battle along with the huge fists that they were attached to. Despite his brutish form, Bipotron was an eloquent and sophisticated individual, and possessed a sense of benevolence towards nature; however, he hated anything to do with the industrial world.

The Bipolar Electronics programme, or “Bipotron”, was designed as an A.I for a line of robots that would be used for an efficient way of terraforming. However, the project was shut down by several protest groups, as it raised controversy about melting the icy region of the Makuhero Planet, destroying the habitat of many Frost Beast. Bipotron, being sophisticated enough as an AI to be considered sentient, was not deleted but instead given a body and allowed to live as a citizen.

A Frost Beast, the creature at risk. (Frost Beast Review)

Bipotron, curious about his origins, researched the project he was originally made for and was horrified by it, disgusted by the idea of tampering with the natural environment. He tried peaceful protest against similar organisations, but after it’s ineffectual results he took to more violent methods, killing several people. As a result, he was visited by Jenna Arrowhead of the Hero Factory, who sought to arrest him. He convinced her to let him go, but she soon regretted this decision, returned and took him in. Bipotron was freed four years later by the villain Dread, who was disguised as a decoy of the Hero RaptorTalon. From then on, Bipotron served him along with two other villains, Voltwhip and Tumbler.

Breaking out of prison. (Contenders #18)

They set off in a stolen shuttle, searching for Dread’s nemesis, Mary Windbird. They tracked her to the planet Racta Magna, and approached two representatives of the nearest city, Toa Galia and Toa Krode, and demanded that they give up Windbird. The Toa refused, and so they responded by entering the city and tried to take her by force. Bipotron fought Arrowhead and Cliff Scaler, defeating them before then capturing Windbird. They exited the city with the Hero, but Bipotron was shot from behind by Krode, who took her back and locked them out of the city. Dread then ordered the gang to split up and seek out potential allies for a second, more powerful offensive.

Fighting Jenna Arrowhead in Racta Major. (Contenders #22)

Bipotron wandered alone in the wastelands near Racta Major, before discovering that he was being followed by Arrowhead and Galia. He at first attempted to fight them, but was bested and forced to retreat, with the two heroes following in pursuit. While being chased, Bipotron encountered a large robot which he used to distract his pursuers. He then found a race of warriors known as the Gostoks, whom he resolved to befriend; the robot interrupted them, knocking Bipotron off a ledge. Though believed to be dead, Bipotron survived the fall and used the opportunity to invite the Gostoks to Dread’s new army, the Platonic Justice. A camp was formed and Bipotron helped Dread to moderate the group.

Dread then took his gang to Racta Major, appealing to the Toa to hand over the heroes one final time; they refused, and battle erupted. During this battle, Dread managed to kill Jack Lupus, but was unable to touch Mary Windbird. Bipotron then witnessed his leader, in a paroxysm of rage, murder his partner, Tumbler. Seeing his employer unhinged in this way unsettled Bipotron, but Voltwhip was somewhat amused by the situation. They returned to the Camp, only to be immediately attacked by the Toa and the Heroes. A great battle ensued, which resulted in the army that they had built dispersing, due to their lack of unity or common identity Nevertheless, Dread’s gang refused to give up and pressed the attack by themselves.

Bipotron was killed in this battle by Mary Windbird, who shot him in the head.

An overview of this guy. Special thanks to the Mighty Marko Petrusic for giving me some advice on this MOC!

Quoting Thunder Ghost how did you conect the horns to the head/mask pice it looks so cool
I connected the horns using this piece: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32014#T=C and attached it to the bottom of the chin, using the Krika head design :)

Quoting Toa Chains Cool! I really like this guy! His story and motives are really cool! I like the build itself. One thing I dislike about this MOC is that it sort of looks like if a baby Krika went inside of an exo-suit :P I think the colour scheme should be more even and the white and red should be dotted around him more. Other than that though I really like him! Another fantastic moc Wertman!
Glad you like him! So does that make him an Exo-Makuta? :p but yeah, that is the trouble with using a unique mask like Krika's. And also, the colour issue, more specifically the red and blue, does involve a lack of parts, unfortunately. But still, thanks for the comment! :D

Quoting Puff the Magic Thunderbird An environmental terrorist. Quite an interesting concept, although I think the fingers would look better if they were the Hordika-neck pieces, and he needs more upper body armor. Other than that, Bravo!
Thanks Puff! Yeah, I would use those pieces, but as I tend be in short supply of such pieces, and have an abundance of the Metrutoran limbs, I thought I'd save them for other MOCs. Yeah, I agree that the chest may need a little more armour, I may update that. Thanks again! :)
