MO R3: The Timinater vs Brick~
My entry for the 2014 MO, R3
About this creation
Bracket 2

Category: What the dog does when you're not home: What does your K-9 companion do once you leave the house for the day?

I was given permission/encouraged by the judges with some radical ideas I proposed, so I hope this alternative entry isn't too far off topic :P

Good luck to my opponent, Brick's ~ page
MO homepage

I seem to have a thing for the colour black this MO... anyway, this moc was entirely inspired when I was mucking around with 2 motorbike chassis and put them together to make the legs, and I went from there, challenging myself not to build with bricks, but with technic and alternate pieces, and I managed to get up to his chest before I started using some more 'ordinary' bricks, so I was pleased with myself... Enjoy!

I hope you all enjoyed!
God bless you all!
~Tim

Wow, Technic can be eerie.

After a year's wait, the pictures from that one party you went to, finally arrived! Apparently the whole deal was held like a light-year or so away from Earth, so it could not have been done before... But it was fun at the celebration, right? http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/407296

Quoting Dennis Price Your opponent's build is simply better, and a better interpretation of the category. While this is creative, it just doesn't fit. Brick gets the vote.
Right. Whatever. Again its frustrating that you say it doesnt fit when it was clearly allowed.

Quoting Tyler Halliwell Really a cool build here Tim, the werewolf was very well shaped. However, Brick~'s build for me just exuded that look of a dog caught in the act of being naughty, and really fit what I saw from the category. He has my vote. Good luck with the last judge!
Obviously not thr result i was after, and i dont think its fair to say mine doesnt quite fit the category because i was given permission by the judges and your fellow judge who voted for me agreed it fits the category... i dont mean to complain because you didnt vote for me but because of the inconsistency

Quoting Nick Barrett This is outstanding, and to my mind well within the category. You really pushed yourself with this one and it came out great. You have my vote. Good luck with the other judges.

Quoting Parrington Levens intricate build and well executed on the perspective.
thanks a lot :)
Quoting David Roberts A great looking figure, with all sorts of interesting parts usage to spot. My favourite is the skeleton as a hand. Good luck with the judges!
yeah, I love that hand eh! sadly I only have 1 black skeleton, so you might be able to see that I compensated with the second hand, which is mostly white :S
Quoting Kevin Moyer Sweet! That greebly robo-dog is awesome!
haha thanks. the werewolf was a challenge, but a fun challenge :)
Quoting Clayton Marchetti Excellent work! If I understand the idea. If your a werewolf hence away what you or your animal self would do. I love it if I'm wrong I very sorry but I would still love it :-) I like how you have him howling at the moon. Excellent PU. I like the skeleton for the hands/paws. Fantastic!
yeah, kinda... It's more just that the werewolf is just having a good time while the owner's out ;)

Nice job Tim! Black isn't such a bad color, Quoting Henry Ford; "Any customer can have a car painted any color he wants as long as it is black". So you're good to go. Good luck with the judges. ~John
